Here's another character for my BLoSC meets Lightyear verse, Lightyears Ahead Name: Electra Pleiades Sex: Female Species: Lyuuban (reef/forest hybrid) Age: 23 (in her species' years) Height: 4' 8"  Weight: 120 lbs. Orientation: Straight Occupation: Cadet at the Space Ranger Academy Homeworld: Lyuuba Family: Atlas (father), Pleione (mother), Maia (older sister), Alcyone, Celaeno, Merope, Asterope, Taygeta (younger sisters) Relationship status: Currently single, though rumor has it she has her eye on a certain Jo-Adian ranger Basic information: Electra is the second of seven daughters born to the Alpha family of the Seven Sisters Lagoon colony on Planet Lyuuba. She has dreamed of being a space ranger ever since one rescued her from an oil spill when she was a small child. While at the Academy she befriends fellow newcomers Izzy Hawthorne, Mo Morrison, Darby Steel, and Adam Featheringhamstan; however, she also gains a bully - Spike Flannagan. Despite the difficulties of living off her homeworld, she is enjoying her time with Star Command and looks forward to some exciting adventures.

Do u have any tips on how to draw the space ranger suits? Just a rough idea. I feel like that's something I've been struggling with no matter how much I look at the references 😭 thanks in advance!!

hi !! don't worry, the suits are literal HELL to draw i'll be honest. the way i began to approach it was learning to simplify them, not look at every little detail but the more important shapes.

to further learn to simplify the suit, try looking at the source material! compare and contrast the simpler shapes of the buzz lightyear original toy

OKAY. simplifying done. my next suggestion is use references. references will be your best friend. i know you said you already use them to the best of your ability, but trust me! the good thing about buzz lightyear is that there are a plethora of toys out there for you to pick up and look at for reference. i've found that the S.H FIGUARTS BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ALPHA SUIT is a really REALLY good references for closer, clearer, cleaner details. i also have a little buzz lightyear toy i got for like 12 bucks at walmart. he's really handy, especially when it comes to weird angles or simplifying shapes for sketches! that's kinda all i got from the top of my head, i hope these tips help you, ranger!!
