…. Thinking about how Renchanting/Treebark has an almost perfect separation of platonic/romantic in terms of tagging but it still gets mixed up. Like, they literally gave us the duo name. It’s called Renchanting. We didn’t make it up. It’s canon. It’s platonic.

On the other hand, Treebark was coined by a shipper and exclusively used for shipping and it was used in shipping circles and it has like three ship events attached to its name. Just because the fandom made it up doesn’t mean it’s a “platonic duo name” especially when said platonic duo name literally exists in canon.

Anyways begging people to search up Treebark in the fanlore page because that is a valuable resource instead of talking about Treebark in CCs chat, mistakenly thinking it’s the platonic name.
