Tidbits of ATSV That I Enjoyed (Or Alternatively: Just Miles Being The Most Endearing Spidey Ever)
Miles patting The Spot's head after successfully webbing him (I don't see this as condescending, but rather him still engaging with the humanity of a villain like Spot) and ~very assertively~ telling/asking him not to escape.
"I'm like Robin Hood-if he gave to himself."
Miles' spidey senses going off when he arrives late to his dad's party because there's nothing more frightening than Brown parents when they're mad at you. Beware the chancla or correa!
O.k. So we all know there are different versions of the movie out there. You may already know that one of the slight differences is when Miles goes to save Inspector Singh. There's a version where you can hear Gwen's voice in the distant background yelling no! when she thinks Miles gets crushed under the rubble, and there's another where she's silent as she webs to him. Now, I have found ANOTHER version (online) where her shouting is even more at the forefront. She's practically screaming and sounds more desperate, (prolly because it's close to the same way her Peter Parker died so she's reliving trauma) and the fear in her voice is palpable. That one haunts me.
Jefferson trying to equate studying for his police exams to childbirth, which Rio quickly nips in the bud.
Ganke having a soccer poster of Son Heung Min, a famous Korean footballer who currently plays for the Premier League Tottenham Hotspur and is captain of the South Korean national team.
Miles having a Sashimi (his universe's version of Supreme, but I just like the idea that Miles loves eating sashimi. Like I know that kid has good taste in food) poster in his bedroom.
The fact that Miles kept in touch with Aunt May for long enough after the events of ITSV that he helps her move.
The Spot saying he was one of the more handsome scientists at Alchemax according to his colleagues.
Miles and Gwen having the same collectible toys, the only difference being that he keeps his in the box and she doesn't.
"Hey, don't try to wow me with big words, man," *in deep manly voice* "I do crosswords every day"- Miles after Spot points out Alchemax as "the crucible of our connection!"
Miles going, "This job is so dumb sometimes" after he tries to web Spot at the deli, but it goes through a hole and lands on his face.
"Nahhh, he seems more Dominican to me." Kinda want Miles to meet a native Dominican Spidey because that dynamic would highkey fuck hard *pun not intended*. They would repair relations between our two islands-PR&DR.
"Almost there Mami *smiley face* *cowboy* prayer hands*"
The college admissions coach at Visions Academy straight up saying, "That's your story! Now, just stick to the script..." Ma'am what???
"Calmate Mami, eso no es my fault."
"I've hit a lot of different villains with a lot of different food...I'm just trying to lighten the mood."
Miles in his angsty teen era and smart-mouthing everyone around him. Love that for him.
"He almost killed his mom as a baby, I mean, look at those shoulders." No but for real tho. Those shoulders are as wide as a truck. Kim Seokjin who??? (if you understood that reference, ily).
Miles writing a love letter to his dad in 2 cakes.
Gwen at the water tower chowing and saying how feelings make her hungry after her and Miles talked about how they can't be together cause it would end in tragedy. Like Gwen, come again?!
Also, Miles' and Gwen's talk at the Williamsburg Bank Building being lowkey the catalyst for the 2nd/3rd acts of the film. Without them both kind of silently admitting their feelings for each other, Miles probably wouldn't have chased after her the way he did. Pretty sure you know the rest.
"I bet she doesn't even speak Spanish," and Jeff going "Que barbaridad" in his very broken Spanish. Queue Rio's bombastic side eye.
Both Gwen and Miles referring to Spot as a Villain Of The Week, even though neither of them have spoken about Spot to each other.
"I was bitten by a-wouldnt you like to know? Know what I mean?" SIR. Chill. This movie is for children.
The Spot inverting himself, going from a white mass with black spots to a gaping black hole with smaller white spirals. It's giving Junji Ito.
The irony of Pavitr exclaiming, "Well that was another easy adventure for Spider-Man!" right before an incoming canon event. HIS. He was about to experience his first big loss, and his happy-go-lucky nature would've been challenged.
Miguel saying conyo! when all the Spideys start pointing at each other.
"!Cállate!" "Nosy!" Sidebar: we don't talk about Gwen's banter with bad guys enough. She's so funny!
A lot of the Peters saying hi to Gwen as she passes HQ because she is canonically the one lost love--the love interest they all would've ended up with had she not died, so they all have an affection for her.
Web-Slinger going "Giddy up!" Cause he's swinging up.
Miles offering his fresh new takes on how to deal with the Spot upon meeting Miguel, saying "He just wants to be taken seriously. Like we all do." MILES YOU BEAUTIFUL, COMPASSIONATE GOLDEN SUNFLOWER BOY I LOVE YOUUUUU.
Hobie referring to Peter B. as Humbling Reality Spider-Man, which considering how steeped in tragedy the Spidey lore is, is really saying something.
Miguel's nonono no puedo más no puedo más. His misery is very funny and delightful to me. Little bitch ass.
"You know you're the only Spider-Man who isn't funny." Yes! More Miguel slander in the next one, please! Little bitch ass.
"Snitch!"
Miles shouting out Peter's name for help whilst Miguel pins and lays into him the fact that he's an anomaly. This after he momentarily glitches back to his ITSV store-bought suit. Mimicking the way-in also the first movie-Miles shouting out Peter's name for his own rescue as Doc Ock attacks him at the research facility. Because even though he feels hurt by Peter at this point, that's still his dad mentor and he still instinctively looks to him for protection. Rip my heart out why don't you!
Gwen sneaking back into her and her dad's place just to get that printed polaroid of her and Miles, a pic she already has on her phone.
Earth-42 Miles wearing Nike while our Miles wears Jordans.
#hi. ive seen this movie 8x in theaters and twice on pirating sites. i am unwell#also sorry not sorry for the miguel slander. i am a miles loyalist thru and thru thst bitch is on thin ice#but also literally can't get over gwen “it really is so nice to get to talk to you. me & him its different. in every other universe...stacy#cause directly underneath that she's actually saying. “i missed you. and what i have with you i literally do not have with anyone else and.#you dont know this but ive met hundreds and thousands of spiderpeople. nd even in my friendship with hobie its not like what i have with yo#and im actually really smitten with you. the one person i shouldn't be smitten with bc there is no happy ending for us. and idk...#if i should hold off. and im letting you know all this so that you can decide for me. whether to take that lesp of faith or not with you. &#hope that say yes and make the first move so that i cant but help to just sink into you.“#AND IT MAKES SENSE! I KNOW THATS NOT WHAT THAT WO#ACTUALLY MEANS. BUT IT MAKES SENSE THAT SHE CAN ONLY TALK TO MILES BC THEY PERFECTLY UNDERSTAND EO.#anyways idk why im shouting. im high rn. but crazy how all of that meaning was subtly thrown in there. like we got a confession scene folks#from gwen of all people! i love that for me.#also back to miguel: so i know he's hot. but if a hot person were to ever be rude to a waiter we agree theyre no longer hot right? right.#atsv#miles morales#itsv#miguel o'hara#the spot#ghostflower#gwiles#gwen stacy#ghost spider#gwen x miles#rio morales#across the spider verse#into the spider verse

this might be slightly longish request but please could you do son heung min and a mix of general reading with these qs?
does he ever regret signing for tottenham since he hasnt won much with them?
if he could redo any part of his career from tbe start would he have chosen liverpool or some other slightly more successful club?
why did he not snitch on his nt teammate for busting his fingers?
since he was much influenced by his dads choice to be single until retirement does he still feel that way? or does he feel like he has never really had a proper relationship due to his career or schedule?
what sort of person does he then look for or what does he look for in a person, i should say since he hasnt talked about it much if at all?
thank you, sorry if its a lot to do!
uuhhhh this ask got me really excited, ngl. have been wanting to read on him for a long time, so thank you for these questions! 🙌🏻
Does he ever regret signing for Tottenham since he hasn't won much with them? || cards: king of swords rx, ten of wands rx
While he recognizes that he's had it easier with them - in comparison to how it would've had been with other teams, in terms or teamwork, bts treatment, how valued his opinions are, etc. -, he does see that perhaps signing with them it wasn't really the smartest decision business wise (money, opportunities, etc). At the same time, I think he's grown a kind of sense of responsibility and loyalty towards them, even though he's not getting as much as he could, or even as much as he deserves. It's more personal, I feel like; beyond money.
If he could re-do any part of his career from the start, would he have chosen Liverpool or some other slightly more successful club? || cards: three of swords rx, two of cups
I think he had his reasons to choose Tottenham, and so it's unlikely that he would've chosen something else if he had to opportunity to go back - considering that the conditions and motivations were the same.
Why did he not snitch on his teammate for busting his fingers? || cards: queen of pentacles, four of wands rx
Because he doesn't want to cause any trouble, ever?? It feels like he just didn't want to make the atmosphere weird or ruin their teamwork. Plus, in a way, I think he has been trained and/or conditioned to work through this sort of thing, and not let it affect him in any way. Work comes first; getting good results comes before anything else.
Since he was much influenced by his dad's choice to be single until retirement, does he still feel that way? Or does he feel like he has never really had a proper relationship due to his career or schedule? || cards: four of cups, the high priestess rx, ace of cups rx
I actually think he's fine with it, for the most part. He looks at his teammates and such, and doesn't find anything that makes him really upset that he's missing out on. It does make him feel a bit lonely at times, and he questions whether or not this "lifestyle" is worth it, but those thoughts pass as soon he gets back to work. Truthfully, I don't even see him being at a place where he can invest into a relationship and provide stability and enough love to the other person.
What sort of person does he then look for or what does he look for in a person, I should say, since he hasn't talked about it much if at all? || cards: seven of cups rx, five of wands rx, two of cups
As of right now, he really doesn't have many requirements, and not even a "type", I'd say. As long as he can connect with them on an emotional level, it's fine. If anything, someone understanding, independent, open minded. I also feel like people who aren't too much into commitment or traditional relationships might attract him too - partly because it's conveninent for him.

Tight Race for Top 4 Heats Up in the Premier League
Tumblr media
The English Premier League is living up to its reputation for drama this season, with a fierce battle raging for the coveted Champions League spots.  As of April 7th, 2024, the top six teams are separated by just a handful of points, making the remaining fixtures crucial in determining who qualifies for Europe's elite competition.
Currently, the race for the top four is a six-horse race.  At the forefront are the surprising high-flyers, Aston Villa. Under the guidance of Unai Emery, they've defied expectations and sit just one point behind the current leaders, Liverpool.  Arsenal, who finished outside the top four last season, are back in the hunt, occupying third place with a two-point cushion over the reigning champions, Manchester City.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also in contention, albeit slightly further adrift.  Spurs, with a squad brimming with attacking talent, are just five points behind Arsenal, while United, despite their inconsistencies, remain within striking distance, six points off the top four.
This congested fight for Champions League qualification adds a layer of excitement to the remaining matches.  Every fixture holds immense weight, with dropped points potentially derailing a team's European ambitions.
Here's a closer look at some key contenders:
Aston Villa:  Their attacking prowess, spearheaded by Ollie Watkins and Philippe Coutinho, has been a major factor in their success.  However, their lack of experience in such a high-pressure race could be a potential hurdle.
Arsenal:  The young Gunners, led by the impressive Bukayo Saka, are playing with a swagger and a hunger.  Maintaining their consistency will be vital in their quest for a return to the Champions League.
Tottenham Hotspur:  Harry Kane and Son Heung-min remain a lethal attacking duo, and the arrival of Dejan Kulusevski has added further depth to their squad.  Their performance in crucial head-to-head clashes will determine their fate.
Manchester City:  Despite their struggles this season, Pep Guardiola's tactical genius should never be underestimated.  They possess the experience and squad depth to stage a late surge.
Beyond the Top Four:
The battle for Europa League and Conference League qualification is also heating up.  Teams like West Ham, Newcastle, and Brighton are locked in a tight race for these coveted European spots.
The Bottom Half:
At the other end of the table, the relegation battle is surprisingly open.  With several teams hovering just above the drop zone, the remaining fixtures will be crucial for their survival hopes.
Unpredictable Finish Looms:
With the top-four race so tightly contested, injuries, suspensions, and crucial fixtures will play a defining role.  The next few weeks promise to be a thrilling ride for fans of English football, with every point potentially making the difference between Champions League glory and European disappointment.

Can South Korea End Its Asian Cup Drought?
Tumblr media
When it comes to international football tournaments, I think it is safe to say that the average football fan probably doesn’t care to pay a lot of attention to the Asian Cup.
Let’s face it, the majority of football fans are usually anticipating the World Cup or the European Championship.
But when talking about the Asian Cup, I think a lot of football fans would be surprised to learn that South Korea has not won the Asian Cup since 1960.
Tumblr media
Online bookmaker Bet365 has the latest wagers and currently South Korea has 11/2 odds to win the 2023 Asian Cup that will be held in Qatar from January to February 2024.
Yes, it has been over sixty years and I think this is surprising to football fans who don’t pay attention to Asian football because nobody can forget that South Korea made it to the semifinals of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
Yet we also have to remember that South Korea was a co-host of the 2002 World Cup and of course, home field advantage is huge in international football.
It also should come as no surprise that South Korea hosted the Asian Cup in 1960. Four years earlier, South Korea won the inaugural Asian Cup in Hong Kong.
Tumblr media
Ever since winning back-to-back Asian Cup trophies, the South Koreans have made it to the final match on four occasions.
The most recent trip happened in 2015 but South Korea was outdone by hosts Australia 2-1 in extra time.
It was a crushing blow for the South Koreans, and it was easy to assume that South Korea would have won in extra time after Son Heung-min scored the equalizer in stoppage time.
But the heartbreak continued for South Korea on that night in Sydney.
Tumblr media
The bottom line is that South Korea has enough talent on its team to win the Asian Cup in Qatar.
Even though the Asian Cup isn’t a highly respected tournament, it is similar to other international tournaments on the basis that it is not easy to win.
Qatar became the ninth team to win the Asian Cup four years ago in the UAE. But I doubt we will see a new winner this time.

Manchester United Kane is not interested anymore
Manchester United Kane is not interested anymore
Manchester United does not appear to be a candidate for Harry Kane's next destination.
Britain's Football London said on the 25th (Korea Standard Time), "Kane is no longer a target for Manchester United's recruitment. Manchester United has been strongly connected to Kane. However, he is currently one step back from the recruitment race, and Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are potential candidates for destinations, he reported.
In fact, Simon Stone, a reporter for the British BBC, said on the 24th, "Kylian Mbappe as well as Kane are not Manchester United's target for recruitment at the moment. "Manchester United's position will not change," he said.
Kane is the star of Tottenham. He grew up in the club's youth academy and began receiving opportunities in the first division in 2014 after living on loan. Kane, who has a sharp goal-scoring ability, quickly established himself as Tottenham's key striker and has been reborn as one of England's best strikers.
However, they rarely win the trophy. The 2020-21 season was typical. At that time, Kane scored 23 goals and 14 assists in the English Premier League (EPL) alone. He swept all the top scorer and assist king, but only the individual award. Tottenham have not achieved much and have been left to nothing
This raised the possibility of a transfer. At that time, Manchester City showed interest in Kane. Pep Guardiola even mentioned it in public. But Tottenham's position was not for sale. Eventually Kane announced his stay and rejoined team training.
This summer is a similar situation. Kane scored 30 goals in the league last season. Kane did his part despite other offensive resources such as Son Heung-min, Hishalisson, and Dejan Kuluchepski's somewhat disappointing performance, including injuries and sluggishness. Although he failed to become the top scorer due to Elling Holland (36 goals, Manchester City), his entry into the 30th goal range itself was an amazing achievement.
Nevertheless, Tottenham was once again a no-winner. He was eliminated from the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League and finished early in all domestic cup competitions such as the FA Cup and the Football League Cup of England. The league performance was even worse. The final ranking is 8th. The possibility of transferring to the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa League as well as the UCL has been raised. Kane is signed by Tottenham until summer 2024. The contract period is one year away, but there is still no news of the renewal. It has already been connected to teams that need to recruit front-line strikers such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) since the end of the season.
At first, Manchester United made the most active move. Manchester United made an impressive achievement after appointing coach Eric Tenhach this season. He finished third in the league and qualified for the UCL next season. And won the EFL Cup. Now, ahead of the new season, they are strengthening their power for bigger goals. One of the positions that is seeking to be recruited is the ranking of strikers who cannot qualify for the conference league

Tottenham's stubbornness was finally If he fails to renew
Tottenham's stubbornness was finally If he fails to renew his contract this summer he must sell it to Munich Kane for five years
Will Bayern Munich finally bring Harry Kane (30) this summer. Tottenham's stubbornness is becoming less and less. If he fails to renew his contract with Kane, he will have to sell it.
British media "Telegref" said on the 24th (Korea Standard Time) that "Chairman Daniel Levy should sell if he fails to renew his contract with Kane this summer." "Tottenham Chairman Joe Lewis also ordered Levi to sell in the same situation," he said.
Bayern Munich have offered Kane a five-year contract, according to Germany's Bild. It's a really shocking condition for a 30-year-old striker. Tottenham rejected the offer in a row, but they are trying to bring in 100 million euros (about 142.9 billion won) by betting. Tottenham seems to be gradually bending its will due to Bayern Munich's active proposal.
Kane's every move is now of interest. Rumors of Bayern Munich's transfer from Germany and England continue. Germany's "Sky" said, "The Bayern Munich high-ranking officials and Tottenham chairman Levi held secret talks in London and had a positive atmosphere. Kane said the transfer fee. "I believe Kane's transfer will take place within up to 21 days," he reported.
The atmosphere is quite different in England. Evening Standard said, "Kane is not leaving Tottenham this summer. "I'm thinking of leaving as a free agent in a year," he said. At the Bayern Munich press conference, he asked coach Thomas Tuchel for Kane, but he also spared a definite answer
Tottenham are on preseason tours in Australia and Singapore for the 2023-24 season. Son Heung-min took a break in Korea after the A-match national team schedule in June, then flew straight to Australia to join the training ground first.
Since then, Tottenham's team has arrived in Australia one after another. Kane's expression was not very bright in the Tottenham video, perhaps because of his mood (?). He was expressionless at the moment he boarded the flight to Australia, and when he got off, he bowed his head and left for the training ground with his colleagues.
Tottenham posted a pre-season tour video on its official channel and put three players as the main players in the second half, but Kane was not there. Freshmen James Madison, Hisharlisson and Son Heung-min came out as the main models of the Australian tour. Of course, in a photo released by Tottenham on the plane, Kane responded with a smile with his teammates
Soul duo Son Heung-min also had a question about Kane's future. "Kane is a fantastic player," Son Heung-min said through the British media 'Football London'. He always did his best as a professional. He never showed any selfishness. Currently, Kane has several transfer rumors, but he is Tottenham's captain. I'm training with Kane."
Kane did not lose his concentration despite rumors of a transfer (Bayern Munich). I really like Kane. After six to seven years together, I knew that he was the best player in the world. Finally, it is up to Tottenham and Kane to decide. Maybe Kane doesn't know what's going on either. I don't know anything either. Nothing can be said. We have to wait," he replied.
Kane is a former Tottenham youth player and has played for Tottenham except for his loan life. He became a world-class player under Mauricio Pochettino and was connected to Real Madrid after finishing second in the UEFA Champions League. For Tottenham, Kane is an irreplaceable resource. He is a former Tottenham youth team, is a 'successful goal' and boasts an overwhelming scoring ability
But Kane wanted to lift the trophy at Tottenham. He renewed his contract with Tottenham to block rumors of a transfer, but the atmosphere has been chilly recently. Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte took the helm but failed to get the desired results.
It has a strong connection with Bayern Munich, but there are other teams. The British media "Independent" said, "Paris Saint-Germain is trying to hijack Tottenham striker Harry Kane." However, if you look at the local atmosphere in France, Kane is not interested in transferring to Paris Saint-Germain.
There is also a point that Tottenham offered Kane to negotiate a renewal of contract, but refused. He is too much needed for Tottenham, but if Kane believes he is unlikely to remain at Tottenham, he may use a strategy to collect the transfer fee as much as possible after last-minute negotiations to push and pull. Of course, there is about a month left before the transfer market ends.
Tottenham is a tug-of-war team that pushes and pulls until the end of the transfer market. Luca Modric and Gareth Bale were sent to Real Madrid at the last minute after repeatedly negotiating and turning over when they left.
Bayern Munich are looking to prepare for next season with a solid core line this summer. Couldn't bring a solid striker after Robert Lewandowski left, thinking of filling it up with Kane. The defense brought in monster defender Kim Min-jae.
Kim Min-jae challenged the European stage in Fenerbahce via Beijing Guoan. Having gained experience playing in UEFA and Europa League, he immediately surpassed Turkiye (Turkey) and received European attention. A season after the transfer of Fenerbahce, love calls poured out, and he chose to transfer to Napoli, one of the five major European leagues.
He also showed overwhelming performance in Napoli and adapted perfectly. He led Napoli's rear build-up with a short and long accurate pass with a predictive defense that looked ahead. When he had a chance, he advanced to the full-back camp to help attack Napoli. In the Champions League, he also met Liverpool and showed his best performance.
Kim Min-jae came to Korea in June to fulfill his military duty. He received military service benefits by winning a gold medal at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games and received basic military training for three weeks at the Nonsan Army Training Center.
During basic military training, there were many rumors of a transfer. It was strongly connected to Manchester United before entering the Army Training Center, but Bayern Munich hit and came in. Manchester United failed to send a strong love call to Kim Min-jae as the new owner negotiations and Harry Maguire were not properly resolved, and Bayern Munich approached Kim Min-jae.
The transfer to Bayern Munich has been virtually confirmed as European transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has launched "HERE WE GO." However, Kim Min-jae was at the Army Training Center, so he failed to take personal final steps such as medical tests and signing contracts.
I took the last step to complete basic military training and leave the hospital. Bayern Munich was likely to move to Germany to conduct a medical test because it was preparing for the preseason in Germany, but it decided to conduct a medical test in Korea.
He passed after a medical test, and Bayern Munich paid Napoli a buyout amount to complete all the transfers.
The German version of "Wall of Wailing" was born. "The future central defense of Bayern Munich will consist of Kim Min-jae and The Ligt," the kicker said. "If Dayo Upamecano doesn't want to be a candidate, he should show better performance," he explained
Kim Min-jae, who confirmed his transfer to Bayern Munich, also had a different goal. Kim Min-jae said, "Munich is a team that all soccer players dream of. So I decided to transfer. My goal is to play in the game first. Furthermore, I want to win the European Champions League. "I want to win both league and cup competitions and achieve treble," he said.
Coach Thomas Tuchel also said, "Kim Min-jae is a big, fast, and very reliable defender. His career is really unique. It shows that he has proved his ability over and over again. Kim Min-jae is happy to join Munich. I made several video calls. Kim Min-jae is a real man. "I'm ready to play right now," he said.
Meanwhile, Tottenham should make up for last season's slump by taking advantage of its pre-season schedule. During the 2021-22 season, he appointed Antonio Conte to quickly improve his constitution and succeeded in returning to the UEFA Champions League.
A major summer reinforcement was made ahead of the 2022-23 season, but it was not successful in the end. It was shaken from the beginning due to a tight schedule, and the freshmen did not match well. Coach Conte's tactics were not diverse, and only a monotonous pattern continued with frustrating offense
In the end, he said goodbye to Tottenham with a bombshell at the end of the season. Even if Conte left, he made a strange decision that left Christian Stellini, the head coach, but failed as a result. Stellini, who took the temporary helm, also failed to secure points by repeating his slump. Ryan Mason was urgently deployed as a firefighter, but he failed to advance his ranking and participate in any European competition.
Big coaches such as Julian Nagelsmann were mentioned, but Enzo Postecoglou was the one who contacted Tottenham. Postecoglou made a domestic treble at Celtic FC last season after going through the J-League in Japan. But the difference between Scotland and the English league is huge. There is a question mark because there is no experience in the big leagues 안전놀이터
First of all, in the first game of the pre-season, he focused on improving his scoring ability by actively utilizing Son Heung-min and Harry Kane. He also brought James Madison from Leicester City during the summer, making the top-class midfield reinforcement he needed since Christian Eriksen left. I'll have to open the lid, but the recruitment is obedient

Everton vs Tottenham: A Battle for European Football
Both Teams Looking to Secure Vital Points in Pursuit of European Qualification
Everton and Tottenham Hotspur will clash at Goodison Park in what promises to be an exciting encounter between two teams aiming for a top-six finish in the Premier League. With just a few games left in the season, this match could prove to be crucial for both sides in their pursuit of European football.
Everton, currently sitting in eighth place with 50 points, are hoping to secure a spot in the Europa League next season. Meanwhile, Tottenham, just one point behind Everton in ninth place, are still in the race for a top-six finish and a chance to play in the Champions League.
Everton's Recent Form
Everton have had a mixed season so far, but they have been in good form in recent weeks, winning four of their last five games. The Toffees have been particularly strong at home, winning six of their last seven matches at Goodison Park.
One of the key players for Everton has been Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season. The striker has been in excellent form recently, scoring in his last three games.
Another player who has been crucial for Everton this season is James Rodriguez. The Colombian playmaker has struggled with injuries this season, but when he has played, he has been a creative force for the Toffees, providing six assists in 18 Premier League appearances.
Tottenham's Recent Form
Tottenham have had a disappointing season so far, but they have shown signs of improvement under new manager Ryan Mason. The Spurs have won three of their last five games, including a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in their last outing.
One of the players who has been in excellent form for Tottenham is Harry Kane. The England striker has scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists in the Premier League this season, and he will be looking to add to his tally against Everton.
Another player who has impressed for Tottenham recently is Son Heung-min. The South Korean forward has scored 13 goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League this season, and he will be a key player for Tottenham in this match.
Key Battles
The match between Everton and Tottenham is likely to be a closely contested affair, with both teams boasting some talented players. One of the key battles to watch will be between Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld.
Calvert-Lewin is a physical striker who is excellent in the air, and he will be looking to use his strength to unsettle Tottenham's defence. However, Alderweireld is an experienced defender who is good in the air and on the ground, and he will be looking to keep Calvert-Lewin quiet.
Another key battle will be between Everton's James Rodriguez and Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hoiberg. Rodriguez is a creative midfielder who can unlock defenses with his passing, while Homberg is a tough-tackling defensive midfielder who can break up opposition attacks.
Conclusion
The match between Everton and Tottenham promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams looking to secure vital points in their pursuit of European football. Everton will be looking to continue their good form at home, while Tottenham will be hoping to build on their recent improvement under Ryan Mason.
The key battles between Calvert-Lewin and Alderweireld, as well as Rodriguez and Hoiberg, will be fascinating to watch and could determine the outcome of the match. With so much at stake for both teams, this is a game not to be missed.

The K-League top scorer who was always on the bench…
Tumblr media
Yoo Jae-seok was admiring Cho Kyu-sung's soccer life.
In the tvN entertainment program ‘You Quiz on the Block’, which aired on the night of the 28th, the soccer life of the 2022 Qatar World Cup national team Cho Kyu-seong was broadcast.
Cho Kyu-sung talked about his soccer life, which began when his father led him one day and joined the elementary school soccer team. Cho Gyu-seong, who is 188 cm tall, was less than 170 cm when he entered high school. "Actually, I haven't been a great player since I was young," he said, "I often sat on the bench without being able to play, and I was so bad at soccer that I was always replaced with a junior player in the second half," surprising the two of them.
Cho Kyu-seong said, “I was in my third year and worried about going to college, and I thought, ‘What should I do? I have no future,' he said. Since it was an announcement, it was popular to prepare for the civil service exam, but I also told my mother, ‘I went to the first competition in the third year, but if I couldn’t play, then I had to prepare for the civil service exam.” Yoo Jae-seok was shocked, saying, “It is unbelievable when you look at the current Cho Kyu-seong.” Jo Guk-in, the older sister of Cho Kyu-seong, said, “Even though Kyu-seong only played sports since he was young, he didn’t show it in front of his family and talked openly. We were also heartbroken inside,” said the family at the time.
Called a “sincere Akbari” by his high school coach, he was invited to change positions after entering Gwangju University. Cho Kyu-seong said, “When he played as a defensive midfielder, he went down to the 3rd team, but the coach set him up as a center forward. He said, ‘Are you comfortable playing a defensive midfielder or a center forward?’ and since I had never played a center forward, I said, ‘I feel comfortable playing a defensive midfielder.’ I was so desperate and wanted to play, so I said, ‘I will do as the coach tells me to do as a center forward’.” Yoo Jae-seok was moved, saying, "A person's interest can change a person's life?" and "I saw something in the director's eyes."
Cho Kyu-seong said, “On the day I was selected as the national team for the World Cup (my team), I was taking a nap because it was an evening game, but I got a text message saying ‘Congratulations’. Then I heard that the national team was announced, so I checked to see who it would be, and there was my name.”
“The most amazing thing about becoming a national representative was seeing Heung-min hyung. While greeting him, they said to themselves, ‘Wow, this is Son Heung-min, I succeeded. Cho Kyu-seong said, “Now Heung-min plays with him too,” while conveying his relationship with Son Heung-min, which has changed from the beginning, and laughed, “When I joke with my brother, he says, ‘We got close a lot?’”.
Cho Kyu-seong, who was second in scoring for the season, dramatically became the top scorer by scoring multiple goals in the final match of the K-League last September. Yoo Jae-seok admired, saying, “This is a human victory,” and Jo Se-ho was thrilled, saying, “I wouldn’t have thought of it even 10 years ago.” Cho Kyu-sung sent a message of advice and support to his juniors who are still training hard with himself as a role model, saying, "Even if your efforts don't yield results, if you work hard, good opportunities will surely come."

Uruguay vs South Korea Prediction, Time, & Live Streaming
Tumblr media
In Group H of the 2022 World Cup, Uruguay and South Korea will kick off play on November 24. Both groups of the World Cup will feature tight competition. However, the current Uruguayan team of athletes is quite promising. Despite having won the competition twice, Uruguay hasn't gone all the way since its title-winning run in the World Cup 1950 in Brazil. Making the semifinals in the FIFA World Cup 2002 was South Korea's most remarkable performance at home. In their past four visits, they advanced to the elimination phase, falling to Uruguay in the contest of 16 in 2010. The other members of Group H's opponents are Ghana and Portugal.
Uruguay vs. South Korea Preview
Uruguay Team Overview Ronald Araújo recently underwent surgery for an adductor injury and achieved good healing. He most likely won't miss the first game. Uruguay has only had one opening-game victory in their previous seven world cup participation, with the other five games ending in losses or draws. They have won four of their last five World Cup matches. In this competition, they want to continue the trend. South Korea Team Overview South Korea is competing in the FIFA World Cup for the most time of any Asian country with 11. They seek to improve on their one win in their previous six world cup competitions. Before the competition, Son Heung-Min sustained a face injury that might have stopped him from participating. However, he is still a team member, which is great for South Korea.

Spurs see long channel for Gordon market Jan.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are monitoring Gordon's situation with Everton and will increase interest when they enter the winter transfer window or in January next year.
Reports say Spurs view Chelsea's decline in interest in Gordon after appointing Graeme Potter as their new manager. Making them more likely to contact Everton, although they know that the  บาคาร่า  opportunity to move the team in the near term is less likely.
Everton have decided to turn down a huge offer from Chelsea, believed to be as much as £40million during the summer transfer window. While the current contract of the 21-year-old attacking midfielder is quite a concern. Because it lasts until 2025 from the signing of a contract that happened two years ago.
However, Spurs are seeing serious problems in the team's offensive line. In the latest situation without Son Heung-min and Richarlison suffering injuries simultaneously, Dejan Kulusevski has just returned to fitness. therefore need an offensive line to reinforce the army in the middle of this season

22nd FIFA World Cup Preview
Tumblr media
22nd FIFA World Cup Preview
Starting November 20th, 32 teams from across the globe will gather in Qatar for the 22nd FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial soccer tournament that is the most popular sporting event on the planet. Here’s a preview to the four week spectacle which is going to be one of the most controversial World Cups ever held.
Why is it going to be one of the most controversial ever?
There are lots of reasons.  Let’s start with Qatar’s bribery of FIFA members to rig the vote on hosting the event.  More appalling is Qatar’s use of slave labor to build the venues for the Cup.  Oh, and more than 6,500 of those slaves died during the construction. As if that wasn’t enough, the Qataris, supported by FIFA, have put a muzzle on credentialed reporters and networks to prevent them from covering those controversies along with other aspects of their culture most people find distasteful. You can read more in this excellent commentary from Roger Bennett of “Men in Blazers” fame - Linkage.
Can we talk about the competition now?  Is anyone noteworthy missing from this event?
Two highly ranked national teams that usually appear in the World Cup -- Italy and Colombia – failed to qualify this time.  Italy’s absence is particularly shocking given they won the European Championship last year and are currently ranked #7 by FIFA.  Colombia is currently ranked #17.  Nigeria didn’t qualify either, which means someone else has to take the mantle of “best uniforms in the tournament” (more on that later).
The big MIA story, however, is the absence of emerging superstar Erling Haaland, who is currently scoring goals at will for Manchester City in the English Premier League.  Unfortunately for him – and for soccer fans everywhere – his home country of Norway didn’t qualify, denying Haaland the opportunity to shine on the big international stage.
So who are the noteworthy players to watch?
Three of the best international players ever – Cristiano Renaldo of Portugal, Lionel Messi of Argentina, and Neymar of Brazil – have said this is their last World Cup.  While maybe not quite as good as they once were (superstar performance is tough to maintain, after all), they all still are major contributors and are playing on teams that could legitimately lift the Cup on December 18th.
Here are some other players to keep an eye on:
Kylian Mbappe of France, when fully healthy, is an electric player who can single-handedly change the course of a match.
I’m hoping Son Heung-min of South Korea (and Tottenham Hotspur) will be able to play, but he just had facial surgery and may have to sit out.  He is a prolific goal scorer and South Korea will be in deep trouble if he is out.
Son’s Spurs teammate, Harry Kane, could lead England to their first World Cup since 1966.
Another (former) Spurs player, Denmark’s Christian Eriksen, is returning to the world stage after suffering a near-fatal heart attack on the pitch during the European Championships last year.
Two players for Team USA could have break-out tournaments - Brenden Aaronson and Christian Pulisic, both of whom are currently playing in the English Premier League.
What’s the format of the tournament?
The 32 teams are put into 8 groups and everyone plays everyone in their group.  The top two teams in each group advance to single-elimination matches (“knockouts”). Group standings are based on points accumulated -- 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, no points for a loss.  In case of a tie, goal differential will be the deciding factor on who advances.  Once in knockouts, matches will be played until there is a winner.
How can I watch it?
You can stream it on FOX Sports. Or you can stream it on Telemundo (and multitask by learning Spanish while you watch). Telemundo’s commentators are more emotional and do great job feeding off the excitement of the crowd during the match.  And their goal calls are much more enjoyable thanks to Andrés Cantor’s influence.
My time is limited – what matches should I watch?
For the group stages, the following matches could be very interesting:
11/20 (11 AM) - Qatar vs. Ecuador (First match of tournament - Ecuador is a sleeper)
11/21 (2 PM) - USA vs. Wales (USA needs to win this if they want to advance)
11/24 (2 PM) - Brazil vs. Serbia (Brazil's first…watch it after round 1 of your Thanksgiving feast)
11/25 (2 PM) - England vs. USA (Yanks taking on the Mother Country…Cowpens II, anyone?)
11/26 (11 AM) - France vs. Denmark (This one could be a classic)
11/27 (2 PM) - Spain vs. Germany (Two former champs slugging it out)
11/29 (2 PM) - Iran vs. USA (Does the USA advance or not?)
11/30 (2 PM) - Poland vs. Argentina (Will this be last stand for Lionel Messi?)
12/2 (10 AM) - South Korea vs. Portugal (Will this be last stand for Cristiano Renaldo?)
Once the tournament moves to knockouts (starting December 3rd), all of the matches – even the third place match on Dec. 17 – are “must see TV.”
What’s the story with Team USA?
The US Men’s National Team (“USMNT”) is getting better and is closing the gap with other countries.  There are lots of young talented players on the team in addition to Aaronson and Pulisic, most of whom have been playing in Europe to improve their performance against top international talent.
Unfortunately, the USMNT seems to be have trouble jelling and they haven’t been playing well in international friendlies leading up to the Cup.  Also, several key players are dealing with injuries that could keep them from being 100%. That’s not good because they are in the toughest group in the tournament (England, Iran and Wales are the other teams in Group B, the “Group of Death”).
Advancing to knockouts is an understandable expectation for the Red, White and Blue, but it may be tough to pull off this time.  Winning that first match against Wales is essential for advancement.
On to important matter – who has the best uniforms in the Cup this time?
Mexico, Japan and France have great looking uniforms (aka “kits”). Croatia and USMNT have nice looking “away” shirts, but their home shirts are “meh.” And, as Roger Bennett pointed out in his commentary, a special shout-out goes to Denmark for designing plain kits (including an all-black alternate) as a protest about the aforementioned Qatari controversies.
Who are the favorites?
Brazil, Argentina, France, and England are four to watch.  Some people are keen on Belgium – they do have a great defense, but I think they missed their chance to lift the Cup four years ago in Russia. France is starting to have issues with injuries, which may keep them from winning two Cups in a row.
Any dark horse contenders?
There is always one team from Africa that plays inspired soccer and threatens to advance.  I think that team will be Morocco this time.  I also think both Denmark and Ecuador could surprise and possibly advance to knockouts.

Conte OK Kai wins - hopes 'Richar' is not heavy
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte was pleased with the win despite the hard work at the end of the game. And mentioning the injury of Richarlison in the latest match
Spurs opened the home game to defeat the remaining 10-man Eintracht Frankfurt with a score of 3-2 in the Champions League Group D on Wednesday, with Spurs currently in the lead. The herd has 7 points after 4 matches.
“We score good goals, we are patient, we have to try to deal with the situation. We have to stay in the game,"  บาคาร่าออนไลน์  said the Italian coach.
“We started in a difficult direction, conceding the first goal, we scored three goals and had big chances. We have to try to beat Sporting Lisbon and reach the next round.
“We have to concentrate until the end. It would be a disaster if we got a draw in a game like this. “We work a lot during the week. To have a good coordination between our strikers, today they (Son Heung-min and Harry Kane) showed a great connection, Richarlison played well, he has. knee problems Hopefully it doesn't hurt or affect Saturday's game against Everton, we should probably have Kulusevski back in that match. He is an important choice for us. he is useful
“Go one game at a time, the next game is Everton. They didn't start very well but they played good football. They are a good team with a good manager, tomorrow (Thursday) we will rest and prepare for the game on Friday.”

Heung-Min Son, the first Asian to win the Premier League top scorer award!
In the final round of the Premier League, Norwich vs Tottenham Hotspur won 5-0. This allowed Tottenham to return to the Champions League after three years, and Son Heung-min scored the 23rd goal, co-scoring with Salah as the top scorer. He was the first Korean and Asisain to become the first top scorer, and became the 11th player to win the top scorer without a penalty kick. In addition, Tottenham became the third-highest scorer in the Premier League and 38th in all-time scoring in the Premier League.
Tumblr media
Even such a perfect man also had a slump.
He has been so prominent since elementary school and middle school, received considerable attention overseas as he played for the U-17 national team in 2009. On October 30, 2010, he marked his debut goal in his 18-year-old debut, heralding his stardom. After that, he began to attract attention from the media around the world, including signing the Bundesliga's prestigious club Buyer 04 Leverkusen while breaking the club's record for the highest transfer fee. In this way, a slump came to him, who always seemed to only walk on a solid road. After the 2011 Qatar Asian Cup he gained 4 kilos, and he experienced a sudden weight gain. There are a lot of evening games, but Son Heung-min didn't play much, and it is said that he neglected the management as he ate food late after the game. After returning to the German team, he will be reduced to a bench position. People behind the scenes said, 'Now Heung-Min Son is over'.
At the end of the season, he had to go back to Korea, but Son's father said he couldn't go because he was embarrassed. He said he wanted to go to Korea because he would do everything his father told him to do, and then he went to Korea and the hell training began. In May 2011, in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, he did hell training, such as waking up in the morning to exercise, going straight to the training ground to shoot canopy, eating lunch, resting, and going out in the afternoon to train with the children his father taught. He trained without a day off during his vacation, so he lost weight in Germany, and he returned to Germany as a different person. He went and trained harder, and there were no more problems.
Son Heung-min overcame this crisis and announced his existence again, and at that time, he played such a big role that an article called ‘Son Sasional’ was published on the Bundesliga website. After moving the team to Tottenham Hotspur, of course, there were a lot of crises big and small, but looking at Son Heung-min, who overcame them all and became the best player in the current epl, it is really respectable.
I have great "admiration" for his work, and would like to give a big applause to Son Heung-min, who is always humble, and always works hard.

Tottenham: Son Heung-min would take Champions League spot over Golden Boot
Tottenham forward Son Heung-min says he would take qualifying for the Champions League over winning the Golden Boot.
The South Korean has scored 21 Premier League goals this season, with Liverpool's Mohamad Salah currently leading the race with 22.
Tottenham are fifth in the league, just one point behind rivals Arsenal with two games remaining.
"It would be nice but for us it is important to finish in the top four," the 29-year-old said.
Son scored his 21st goal in Spurs' 3-0 thrashing of Arsenal in the North London derby on Thursday.
He has scored 10 goals in his last eight games, including a hat-trick against Aston Villa.
Asked if he would trade scoring more goals for a Champions League spot, Son said: "Yeah, 100%.
"Obviously it's a good thing that you are racing, but I have said a few times that it is important to finish in the top four [more] than anything else."
Spurs host Burnley at 12:00 BST on Sunday before ending their season at Norwich on 22 May.
Manager Antonio Conte told reporters on Friday that Son had promised to score against Burnley after he was taken off during the second half of the Arsenal match.
Son said the schedule and Spurs' early kick-off was "madness".
"I am always not happy at coming off because I want to be on the pitch because I love playing football and I want to help the team," Son added.
"I can understand why because we have a really quick game on Sunday. I can't promise I will score but I will do my best and I will do my best for the team, and if I don't score I will do my best.
"To be honest, looking at the schedule it is madness. It is a really quick turn and we need to do everything to recover and then get ready to go again."
