there is a story! well, more like the skeleton of a story 😭😭 iza and i have been conjuring up an entire plot for these lacka-ocs ever since they were conceived. we're not entirely sure if we should write fanfiction for them or just stick to making art, but we intend to get as much as we can out! (worms... worms in the brain!!)

for the sake of our sanity; the plot of 'guns n' roses' is as follows:

bob is part of a family that is deeply associated with the gangster life. he, along with his two brothers, manuel and eduardo (alias; las tres balas), work for the marigold gang. needless to say, they get their hands dirty on the daily. on one particular evening, bob meets maria at a dinner party that he's not even supposed to be at and instantly becomes infatuated with her. maria, feeling strangled by her own responsibilities as a fiance-to-be and the ridiculously high expectations placed on her, opts to develop a relationship with him despite her not necessarily having feelings for him at first. she's not aware that bob is living a double life, and bob wishes to keep it that way, thinking that he can be able to balance both pretty well.

lmao, he can't.

he's directly disobeyed eduardo's rule on not getting seriously involved with someone else, and things only get worse by the day. there comes a time where bob ends up screwing things over for him and his family, albeit unintentionally. an entire domino effect of events has him fearing for his and his loved ones' lives, and he begins to heavily reconsider his actions and being up to that point.

things get loud in st. louis. bob is a wanted man, and people think he's conspiring against the law. eduardo isn't acting rationally anymore--not like how he used to. manuel? well... let's gloss over that one for now. his relationship with maria? dreadfully jeopardized.

this doesn't even begin to cover all that happens in guns n' roses; there's still so many characters whom we've omitted to mention that are rather integral to it all, but we reckon this is a good place to start. a lot of self discovery, topics of autonomy and introspection, a dash of broken brotherhood, romance, with just a hint of generational trauma in this one✌️

62.) what’s the weirdest reason you’ve ever shipped something?

Idk if this counts as weird per se but i straight up started shipping winteriron (Tony Stark x Bucky Barnes) because of THIS FUCKING FIC. It sold me on them SO HARD. Sometimes all it takes is one godtier fic that does everything right to get you hooked on a rarepair ✌️😔😔😔

65.) what is your favourite title for a fic you’ve written?

If we're talking og titles i came up with myself, the title of my unpublished TES Oblivion fic is The Stars Have No Names, which ive always been fond of, especially combined with its planned sequel, But Those We Give Them-- which makes a full sentence that just sorta encapsulates the vibe of the whole thing in a way that really scratches my brain just right. This is closely followed by the piece i did for the DSMP Comics Zine, A Few E.G.G.s Short of the Full Scramble, which has multiple layers of puns loaded into it and makes me laugh like a lunatic every time i remember them

As for stuff that isnt original (aka song lyrics or poetry verses, which i steal from shamelessly), i'd have to say im most fond of sightless, unless the eyes reappear, which is the tma fic i wrote that accidentally predicted a decent chunk of the podcast's ending 😭 if i had a fucking nickel.... The verse is ripped from T.S. Eliot's "The Hollow Men" and i really loved how it just perfectly hits the vibes i was going for in that fic. Extremely on-the-nose titles are a game and brother i am WINNING

81.) if you could go back in time and give your younger self a piece of writing advice specific to you, what would it be?

"Hello tiny TJ. First of all, you are a transgender dyke. No this isnt relevant i just thought you ought to know. Anyway cool it with the perfectionism man one day people are gonna read a fic where every individual tag warning you've added is its own separate vine boom and you're gonna get tons of compliments on it despite the fact that it isnt what you consider fully polished. Got that written down? Cool. Now go forth and kiss women, peace<3"

91.) how has your writing style changed over the years?

My writing's always been pretty descriptive, but over the last few years its REALLY shifted into overdrive on the imagery. I think thats always been my biggest strength as a writer, and its something i really, really enjoy doing. As ive said in the past: if im not painting pictures with my words then what, pray tell, is the point!!!

The other thing ive noticed is that ive been dipping my toes into more experimental formatting, whether thats in regards to the story's structure (shout out to that time i planned to write a fic in reverse chronological order), the points of view (second person my beloved), different narration styles, or just the way the words on the page look-- something i know has been directly inspired by my cousin, who has an unpublished 85k Dead Space fanfic which replaces an ENTIRE CHAPTER with a twine game. The man is insane and i love him so much and one day i will bully him into finishing this fic because its not even halfway done what the fuck. Anyway thats my answer THANK YOU BOOK FOR SENDING THESE :DD

ok, so this au is a combination of t&t, hermit enid and stream enid.

So, just like in t&t, enid met the elders, she was adopted and also trained by them

long story short, during semester 2, unlike in your original story, the elders didn't let enid return to nevermore, it made Wednesday worried and confused, so she wanted to find out what happened to enid...

Coincidentally, Enid has a twin, so Wednesday asks them about Enid.

(imagine how it feels when the person you like become close to your twin because they talk about you😂)

just say until 3-4 months, the elders allowed enid to return to nevermore (at that time the stalker incident had been resolved by Wednesday and enid's twin)

when enid came back, they were all very surprised (Wednesday and enid's twin because of how much enid has changed, and enid because her twin and wednesday have become close)

and......blah blah blah

enid and her twin have feelings for wednesday and try to court her

in the end wednesday fell in love with enid.

but it turns out that enid's twin said that enid has no right to be with Wednesday (I don't think that enid's twin is that type of person but sometimes there are people who will do anything to have the person they love) or maybe they will say that they can make Wednesday happier than enid.

what her twin said made enid feel insecure, so when Wednesday confessed her feelings to her, enid rejected it and saying something like “you deserve someone better than me”😑.

why am i making this again?

I should be studying for the exam next week😩

anyway that was just part 1

Hey so now that we're getting closer to buildtober I've been going through the prompts and trying to come up with ideas but I just don't have any at all for some of the days....do you have any tips on how to get inspiration for the prompts without being too on-the-nose or copying a tutorial vid?

Hmm that’s a very good question!

As someone who gets stuck on these things ALOT I have a couple ways that help me personally but might not work for others. But I share anyways because you never know!

1. If you’ve been sat there a while trying to build, get up, have a walk around, grab a snack and do something else for a while. Sometimes getting away from it for a little bit feels less stressful

2. Browse images related to your theme. For example: pumpkin spice makes me think of cafes and orange. So I looked up pictures of cafes and got inspiration that way

3. Is there something you’ve wanted to incorporate into a build for a while? Do it! Just do it! I’ve wanted to make a certain shape of build since forever and just threw a bunch of wither roses on it for day 3

4. There’s nothing wrong with watching a tutorial vid, even if you don’t follow it. You might see something and think “oh I could use that idea somewhere else”, it’s a good source of inspiration

5. Doodle it out. Sometimes physically drawing the idea helps you work through the creative process. It’s a bit like reading your writing aloud to get a feel of it.

6. Pick out a block palette that you think fits the theme and try to make something from that. Sometimes limiting the scope of what can be done helps you focus on what you want to do

7. Wing it. No seriously. Sometimes making it up as you go works better. Would you believe me if I said I make up a lot of my builds as I go or just do it on the fly?

8. Get into a random world and zoom around a bit. Maybe finding a super cool cave or some nice generation might give you ideas!

I hope this helps! As I said I get stuck a lot on these and don’t worry if you need to pace yourself 💖

heya ✌️ i'm tav / fable, i'm 23 years old, my timezone is est, i've been in the rpc for ~10 years, and you could pour soup in my lap and i'd probably apologize to you. if the way these are worded makes me sound a little harsh, it isn't meant to come off that way!! i've just been in the rpc for too long to be vague or lenient. that said, a few rapid-fire rules before we get into the lengthier ones that actually need explaining:

[ 1 ] for blogs that i can’t see myself interacting with, i will soft block you to keep my followers clean. personal blogs will be hard blocked immediately unless a sideblog is attached to it and i can easily see that your personal blog is a hub. note that it will take me a little while sometimes to decide if i want to follow back. give me a few days at a minimum. do not unfollow and follow again and again to get my attention. i will just hard block you and call it a day.

[ 2 ] i'm neutral on callouts. if i see them and think the proof provided in it is actually valid, then i'll reblog it under my psa tag and leave it at that, no further discussion. it will not go under "drama tw" or anything of the sort, because if it's serious enough, it isn't petty drama. it's a genuine warning passed to other members of the community so they can make their own opinions about. that said, i also believe people can change. if there is proof of that, then i see no reason to hold past mistakes over someone's head.

[ 3 ] i will only write with 18+ muns. if you follow me and are a minor or your age is not listed clearly on your blog, i will soft block you immediately. do not lie to me about your age, you will be hard blocked if i find out.

on a similar but less serious note, i also don't follow if i can't immediately see an alias. just...kinda wanna know who i'm following, is all.

[ 4 ] i get that plotting is kinda important for some people!! however, rarely will i ever fully plot a thread, and i heavily prefer using memes to interact. now, plotting for the general vibe of the thread and dynamic between characters? absolutely!! but frankly, if i relied on completely plotting threads, i'd kill my creativity and get even less done than i already do. i'm here for a fun time, not a stressful and / or long time, so please be aware.

[ 5 ] speaking of relying on memes, send me several at a time! you're probably more likely to get a response if you give me variety to work with. if i get a meme i don't think i can work with, i'll probably send several back to you to make up for it. just so things don't feel lopsided or something.

[ 6 ] i am 23 and valynn is an adult ( even though elven ages are... a little weird ), so nsfw content is likely to show up here in some capacity. when it does, it'll be tagged as "nsfw //" ( or "suggestive //" if it's only implied ). however, i'm likely only going to write those topics with people i'm close to.

[ 7 ] anon hate is cringe, so if you send it, it won't get a response from me unless it's to make fun of you. at this point i expect most of us to know not to answer it seriously otherwise the sender is just being encouraged, so if i keep seeing it being answered / talked about on the dash ( unless it's being poked fun at ), i'm probably just going to soft block for my sake because. y'know, you didn't wanna get the negativity, i don't wanna see that negativity, etcetera.

[ 9 ] if you need something tagged, tell me! i’ll do my best to remember to tag what i need to, but please remind me if i happen to forget. the system i use is just "trigger //". now, if you use fancy tags for nsfw posts or posts that otherwise need a trigger warning and refuse to adjust if confronted about it, that's getting a hard block. it isn't difficult to be respectful of what people need tagged. the refusal to do so for your aesthetic is kinda fucked.

as for what i need tagged, all i ask is that visuals of sunflowers are tagged appropriately. i would also appreciate detailed mentions of terminal illness being tagged, specifically cancer, but that's more of a squick than a trigger, so that one is less of a problem.

Hello void, now that BBB is up and running, I figured it was the perfect time to introduce you to a challenge I will be doing this year. It's called Kinktober!

Last year, after rolling into bandom from anime fandom, I challenged myself to write a short for each day of October based off a prompt list. It was an insane challenge, but also a lot of fun! Kinktober was something I had attempted before, because it was an annual event in the fandom I was in before 🖤

For this year, I decided to create a collection and encourage other creators in bandom to join me in Kinktober! Thus I created a prompt list and a collection, which will be linked below.
