imagine Mericho finding an injured seal has been put into his thank and he doesn't realize it's selkie Sahota until he goes back to his human form out of exhaustion

even better because (as suggested by @anomalys-taxonomy ) Vic has had Sahota's seal pelt made into a jacket and he just kinda ... wears it around as a way to flaunt his control

And because it's been cut up and altered, it will actively cause Sahota pain when he's in seal form (even though he feels the most comfortable as a seal) because he needs to be wearing his pelt to shift
