I'm not well versed in the lore of DOOM or when what happened in the timeline of the series, but from what I do know of it makes me wonder if the plot being about a guy dedicating himself to fighting demons coming out of a portal to 'hell' is why it got chosen to be what DOOMED was based on in Danny Phantom, or if that was a coincidence.
