Several dumb crossover fic ideas because I can

1) Steven Universe × Balders Gate 3

It's a Durge timeline just because I adore the ideas that could come from Stevens dream/aura powers interacting with this thing built to be evil but has lost its memory

Haven't played Durge timeliness yet so...

Post Steven Universe Future for that sweet sweet angst

Steven appears in Faerun somewhere between act 1 and act 2. The Nautiloid hopping around the place shunted through a Gem teleport column and Steven got yeeted around mid teleport

Withers is very unimpressed by this fucking rando appearing in the world and is NOT happy about it

Karlach and Stven fuse at somepoint to be Kalven

Steven does his little aura take over of a melon steven at somepoint trying to tell the Gems he's in galactic bum fuck nowhere and needs a lift back

At that time Durge is magically taken over by whatever force I've seen some spoilers for, and casts "Command" on Stevens unconscious bod.

The pair fuse and Durge becomes a Gem Dragonborn

Fighting ensues but Diamond Durge escapes

We go rattling off the plot rails and careen into Oh No territory

Alternatively at somepoint when Lae'zel is going to be rescued Steven goes Perfect Steven mode and wrecks the shit out of Orin

Doesn't save Lae'zel BUT brings her back

Withers is once agains very NOT HAPPY about this as the books are right out the window

Steven can now get home via Lae'zels hair

Lae'zel is VERY NOT HAPPY about this

In either case Homeworld pops by to say hello

Dnd Gods are VERY MUCH NOT HAPPY

The big brain is VERY MUCH NOT HAPPY

The Gith are VERY MUCH NOT HAPPY TO BE OUTDONE IN THEIR TRAVELLING ABILITIES

For a time is generally not a good vibe all around and Steven learns that sadly not every bad situation can be solved by sitting down for a chat/being sassy to a big bad

Resolution somehow???

Hints at Homeworld lending a hand to Faeruns technological advancement in the future

2) Pokemon x Pacific Drive

Haven't finished Pacific drive but hey ho

Set mid game-ish

Set pokemon journeys seasons, the one with Goh

Reports come to the season professor that weird sightings have been reported in Dynamax Dens, some have been becoming dangerous w/ random electrical strikes within/ground moving/a few reports of a car zooming through

Naturally general advice given to approach with caution as the professor send in children to investigate

Ash and Goh sort out a Den but as they finish the battle they can hear a car/see headlights coming towards them

Somehow they've teleported into the Exclusion Zone while the Den collapsed and at the same time the Driver opened up a Gate back to the garage

The pair get into the car and Driver hightail it to the Gate

Various plot things happen

Trainers turn out to be a LOT sturdier than the Driver and can stand the various crippling anomalies (being electrocuted/blown up/radiation poisoning in classic anime fashion amd because the pokemon world is FUCKING ROUGH)

Trainers notice the Driver just...doesn't eat or sleep, also notice they don't need to eat or sleep either now. They can still do those things but they just don't need to.

Turns out LIM energy is the same as Dynamax Energy

Oppy/Francis/Tobias giving info to the trio over the radio in the usual fashion. Frustrated there's no clear routes to the Garage or way for the Driver to communicate back to them but Rthey know the Trainers did pop through and are there

General plot is a mix of trying to get the Trainers home alongside the usual game plot

At somepoint Pikachu Dynamaxes and it goes WRONG. Still looks like Dynamaxed Pikachu but he goes mad with all the energy around.

Poor old Ash is grief stricken seeing his buddy in pain

Driver and Goh have to physically drag Ash into the Car so they can hightail it

Pikachu follows thinking Ash is being kidnapped + brain addled in pain. Can't Un dynamax

Plot follows trying to find a way to force Pikachu to un-dynamax

Pikachu is able to travel through the sames as he is infused with all this energy. Oppy can track movements but Routes the trio can take are too dangerous

Eventually Pikachu decides to go towards what is making him in more pain; towards Cappy

Trio find a route to Capoy too

Cool segway to getting the car off the ramp doing a flying spin into Dynamax Pikachu and knocking the poor thing out

Resolution getting Trainers home & driver out of the Exclusion zone

Whole story become driving force to NOT using the dynamax energy as the LIM tech is a warning to what could happen
