Thoughts on Eivor x Basim ship?

My personal favorite ship to NOT touch. Since the game is so buggy in England, while Asgard and Jotunheim maps run smoother than the rainbow bridge, I finished both arcs there first before I even met Soma in the main quest. From what I gathered between playing and people dropping spoilers in my captures, *****SPOILER ALERT***** Basim/Loki is in love with Aletheia/Angrboda AND he is trying to bring her back somehow? (reminds me of Aita/Sage/husband and Juno/wife from Odyssey and Black Flag now that I think about it) rn I'm at "Finding Fulke" but all I've seen so far is Basim only approaches Eivor and Sigurd for a motive that has something to do with the Isu. Besides Eivor isn't even remotely interested in him and she always suspects him (rightfully so) anyway. So between him already loving someone else (my guess is for as long as the Isus were around, basically pre-Neanderthals-kinda-old love here) and only using Eivor for certain motives, I personally take a hard pass on this ship.

Disclaimer (because I know people will jump me lol): just my 2 cents about why I'm not boarding this ship, not shaming anyone here. Oh and same idea still holds even if it's M_Player x Basim.
