i return to snowbaz to christen the tag for this new story <3 just a silly little thing really -- i thought this au was very fun, and it was honestly very relaxing and familiar to take a stab at these versions of them.

What’s the time difference between the first movie and Pride the Hero? (Just curious, cause in the first move, Ito’s hair was pretty short, then in the second, it’s long again)

Haha well first of all Ito wasn’t in the first movie. (The shadowy girl in the Prism Jump is not actually the real Ito.) But anyway.

Actually.

I have been wondering about this myself. If this has been mentioned officially I am going to look like an idiot, but I have not seen as such so here is what I have figured out on my own:

We know in the first movie Shin is introduced to Prism Shows on specifically July 7th, because of the ticket Louis gives him. Judging from their clothes throughout the movie, I think it’s safe to assume it takes place during that same summer?

In the opening scene of Pride the Hero (which I am going to give away now but I don’t think it’s a spoiler because it’s seen in all trailers) where Louis sings Pride, they are wearing warmer clothes so it’s at least fall if not winter.

NOW. Here is where it gets confusing,

If the Prism Rush game stories are cannon (which they seem like they might be, because they cover several things that we know are cannon such as Yu writing Dramatic Love and an Edel Rose Christmas Live), then actually SEVERAL MONTHS take place between the boys seeing Louis singing Pride and the rest of the movie Pride the Hero haha? Because on Prism Rush Louis sings Pride BEFORE the Chirstmas Live, which is an event that has already finished in the latter half of Pride the Hero, and on Prism Rush there are a lot of events that take place in between and after.

Basically as Pride the Hero progresses we know it’s winter because there are a few scenes where it’s snowing, and after that there is a scene where Hijiri mentions the Christmas Live, indicating Christmas has already passed. Therefore the Prism King Cup probably takes place in early spring?

And finally, in the epilogue of the movie, it’s definitely spring.

So I believe the first movie and Pride the Hero take place over the course of exactly one year, with Prism Rush filling in some of the large gaps that occur over fall -> winter.
