for the record here's the school attire — i wanted to try creative liberty on viet's (bc fuck i love the skirt + shirt combo man!!) where i accidentally ended up w indonesian sec sch uniform lol
aft i realised i honestly was too lazy to fix it up so. but honestly i would fix it up into a pinafore at least smh if i wasnt so tired ady (msian sec pinafore on right) edit during thread making: i did fix it but v lazily so lol
basically PRS are a unit tht works hand in hand with the counseling units in our schools
now for the prefect attire it was based off the prefects in my brothers' school's attire. i couldnt exactly base it off mine bc i was frm an all girls sch 🙃
now about sea forensics — its basically an oral competition w seven categories including OI (oral interpretation) which is smtg similar to storytelling. more info would be here
about Interact club — interact club is basically more on helping the community side, promote international understanding whereby they hold IU day (international understanding day). more info here
ok so editorial board is what we call the magazine commitee at least in *my* sch, i got NO idea at all if other schs do the same or my sch is js quirky like tht (its a convent sch in the city ffs so obvi it would stick out 🙃), so im sticking w calling it tht ok 🙃

Universitas STEKOM Semarang Gelar Vokasi Nasional dan Expo Kewirausahaan di Bali
BALIPORTALNEWS.COM, DENPASAR - Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer (Universitas STEKOM) Semarang bekerja sama dengan PERKIVI (Perkumpulan Komunitas Industri dan Vokasi) dan PTIC (Perkumpulan Teacherpreneur Indonesia Cerdas), dalam waktu dekat akan menggelar Vokasi Nasional dan Expo Kewirausahaan di Bali, dengan mengusung tema "1st Indonesia Vocational Link and Match" acara tersebut diagendakan berlangsung di Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center, pada 17-30 November 2023 mendatang.
Dalam kesempatannya, Dr. Joseph Teguh Santoso, M.Kom., selalu Rektor Universitas STEKOM kepada baliportalnews.com menjelaskan, kegiatan dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk implementasi Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 68 tahun 2022 tentang Revitalisasi Pendidikan, melalui vokasi dan pelatihan guna memperkuat kolaborasi dan kecocokan antara institusi pendidikan, dunia usaha, dan pariwisata.
"Dalam konteks ini, kami dengan kerendahan hati ingin mengajak seluruh ekosistem untuk bersama-sama hadir dalam vokasi nasional dan expo kewirausahaan tersebut. Sebuah acara yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat ekosistem vokasi kemitraandan kerja sama harmonisasi antara seluruh stakeholder terkait," ungkap Rektor STEKOM kepada Baliportalnews.com, Senin (13/11/2023).
Lebih lanjut ia memaparkan, sebagaimana implementasi Perpres 68 tahun 2022, kegiatan "1st Indonesia Vocational Link and Match" memiliki tujuan untuk menyiapkan peserta didik, terutama agar siap bekerja ataupun berwirausaha dibidang tertentu, melalui pendidikan tinggi sehingga para peserta benar-benar siap untuk menerapkan keahliannya.
Dr. Joseph juga menjelaskan, kegiatan "1st Indonesia Vocational Link and Match" yang berlangsung selama 13 hari tersebut nantinya akan diisi berbagai macam kegiatan, diantaranya:
- Sharing dan Diskusi: Para pemimpin industri terkemuka akan berbagi pengalaman dan wawasan tentang perkembangan terkini dalam industri, tantangan yang dihadapi, peluang yang ada. Para ahli dan praktisi akan terlibat dalam diskusi panel yang mendalam mengenai isu-isu kunci dalam bidang vokasi, memberikan perspektif yang beragam dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam.
- Menjaring Koneksi: Peserta acara akan diberikan kesempatan untuk berinteraksi dan menjalin koneksi dengan perwakilan perusahaan dan institusi vokasi. Sesi ini kan menciptakan ruang untuk pertukaran ide, kolaborasi, dan peluang kerja sama.
- MoU bersama Dudika: Penandatanganan MoU, institusi pendidikan dan DUDIKA akan melakukan penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yang melibatkan komitmen jangka panjang dalam bidang pendidikan vokasi, kolaborasi, pertukaran pengetahuan, dan peluang kerja sama lainnya.
- Penjelasan Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK) dan Tracer Study gratis: Ahli bursa kerja akan memberikan penjelasan mendalam tentang pentingnya bursa kerja khusus dalam mengarahkan siswa menuju pilihan karir yang sesuai dengan minat dan potensi mereka. Mentor ahli akan memaparkan pentingnya pelacakan jejak lulusan dan manfaatnya dalam memahami keberhasilan karir mereka serta memberikan masukan bagi penyempurnaan program pendidikan vokasi di masa mendatang.
- Expo Kewirausahaan: Pameran Produk dan Inovasi terpilih dari 30 SMK di Provinsi Bali, ribuan produk kewirausahaan SMK, layanan, dan inovasi mereka kepada peserta acara. Expo ini akan memberikan wawasan tentang potensi kewirausahaan di bidang vokasi serta menjadi platform bagi kolaborasi dan pertukaran ide.
"Kami mengharapkan, kegiatan ini nantinya dapat membangun kemitraan yang lebih erat antara institusi vokasi, institusi pendidikan, industri, dan siswa. Kami meyakini bahwa dengan memperkuat hubungan ini, kita dapat menghasilkan lulusan vokasi yang berkualitas, sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja yang terus berkembang kedepan," pungkasnya. (aar/bpn)

PAGE 62- It’s very emotional in here today. Eh, let’s face it, it is always emotional at Screaming Mimi Kids.
It’s been a real roller-coaster week, I’ve been working on mostly freelance design and commission stuff, which I allllmost don’t have enough time for, so I might have to scale back or raise my rates? Either way, this week I gotta kick out some more SMK so we have updates into March.
Haven’t watched anything too exciting in the past week, but I’ve been listening to Mission to Zyxx, which is a sci-fi, improv, comedy podcast and that has been fun. I’m not falling about the place laughing every episode, but it sounds like tremendous fun to do, and that is fun to listen to.

ITB STIKOM Bali Wisuda 732 Mahasiswa, Alumni Tersebar di Seluruh Indonesia dan Bekerja di Luar Negeri
BALIPORTALNEWS.COM, NUSA DUA – ITB STIKOM Bali mewisuda 732 mahasiswa dalam Wisuda ke-31 yang digelar pada Senin (5/6/2023) di Bali Nusa Convention Center (BNDCC).
Rektor ITB STIKOM Bali, Dr. Dadang Hermawan mengatakan, 732 wisudawan itu berasal dari Program Strata 1 (S1) sebanyak 730 orang dan 2 orang dari Program Diploma 3 (D3).
“Dimana sarjana komputer ini terdiri dari Program Studi Sistem Informasi sebanyak 540 orang, Program Studi Sistem Komputer sebanyak 189 orang, dan satu orang dari Program Studi Teknologi Informasi. Mereka menempuh pendidikan rata-rata 3 tahun untuk pendidikan diploma 3 dan 4 tahun untuk program sarjana,” rinci Dr. Dadang Hermawan.
Lebih lanjut kata Dr. Dadang Hermawan, dengan bertambahnya 732 lulusan baru ini, maka sejak berdiri apda 10 Agustus 2002 hingga wisuda ke-31 kali ini ITB STIKOM Bali sudah meluluskan alumni sebanyak 9.788.
“Semua alumni kami tersebar di seluruh Indonesia bahkan ada yang bekerja di luar negeri,” ujar Dr. Dadang Hermawan.
Diantara 732 sarjana tersebut, 11 orang memperoleh dua kelar, yakni Sarjana Komputer (S.Kom) dari ITB STIKOM Bali dan Bachelor if Information Technology (BIT) dari HELP University Kuala Lumpur.
“Ini merupakan hasil kerja sama dengan HELP University Kuala Lumpur tahun 2007. Hingga kini kami sudah menghasilkan sarjana dua gelar sebanyak 182 orang,” tambah Dr. Dadang Hermawan.
Rektor Dr. Dadang Hermawan juga mengingatkan pentingnya karakter kepala para alumni ITB STIKOM Bali.
"Kita selalu membutuhkan yang utama, selain mata kuliah wajib dan mata kuliah yang utama, kita mengadakan kuliah-kuliah yang mendukung karakter seperti etika profesi, seni budaya, pendidikan kewirausahaan, dll," jelas Dr. Dadang Hermawan.
Dr. Dadang Hermawan mengungkapkan, pihaknya selalu mengingatkan mereka untuk selalu belajar dan meningkatkan karirnya, long life education.

"Sekarang belajar bisa dari mana saja baik formal maupun non formal. Ini kami harapkan bisa berguna untuk diri mereka sendiri, keluarga, orang lain, bahkan bangsa dan negara," ujarnya.
Seluruh dosen ketika mengajar online maupun offline juga diwajibkan untuk memberi 10 menit dari waktu mengajar yang bersifat disiplin, karakter, motivasi agar mereka (mahasiswa) lebih baik, baik dari soft skill maupun hard skillnya baik.
Sementara itu, Pembina Yayasan Widya Dharma Shanti, Prof. Dr. Made Bandem, M.M., menjelaskan, sejak tahun 2001 kemudian tahun 2002 yayasan mendirikan STMIK STIKOM Bali yang sekarang menjadi ITB STIKOM Bali.
"Sejak itu kami berjuang keras. Pada waktu itu belum ada perguruan tinggi di Bali yang memberi S1 dalam bidang TIK itu. Jadi kami memberanikan diri dengan kerja keras, cari gedung, cari dosen. Kini kami sudah memiliki 7.000 mahasiswa dan telah menamatkan lebih dari 10 ribu orang," ungkap mantan Rektor ISI Denpasar ini.
Dikatakan Prof. Bandem, ITB STIKOM Bali tidak hanya mengelola STIKOM, melainkan ada Polteknas di Denpasar, Karangasem, Buleleng dan Abiansemal. Yayasan juga memiliki SMK TI Bali Global, memiliki Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Bandung (STTB) yang sekarang memiliki 4.000 mahasiswa.
"Sebagai yayasan, kami akan terus mendukung kemajuan-kemajuan yang dilakukan perguruan tinggi maupun sekolah-sekolah kami. Kita beri fasilitasnya, terutama laboratorium. Sebab TI tanpa laboratorium yang bagus dan canggih akan sulit menghadapi perkembangan-perkembangan yang sekarang. Ini yang kita terus tingkatkan sehingga apa yang kita harapkan bisa tercapai," tutup Prof. Bandem.(tis/bpn)

Overall, I can conclude that my team have done a great Social Engagement Digital Learning with SMK PU (1) students. Reflecting the moments, I have learnt a great lesson and do feel that I have contributed something good in return to the society. Every week we consistently upload learning materials such as note, video and quiz. From my views, I feel satisfied with the involvement of students especially form 5 SMK PU (1) for our digital learning programme even though we have never met personally.
Before our last digital learning session, we decided to make sharing session with students. In this sharing session, they can ask anything about personal matter, SPM, pathway after SPM or studies. Impressively, so many questions they asked in Google Forms about pathway after SPM and study tips. In sharing session, we use Google Meet as the platform. I think this is the good things for them to know more about pathway after SPM. At least they can prepare their target earlier from now. I am also happy sharing my journey and experiences as a student too. In the last session we get their response about our programme. All of them give their feedback positively and think that this programme is so good and help them in studying.

I also want to say a lot of thanks to my Digital Learning 1 members for making this programme successful. Thank you to Akmal Zawawi, Akmal Khairul Adnan, Ameerul Faris, Rachsyikin, Muaz, and Lukman Hakim. I would like to wish good luck, especially to form 5 SMK PU (1) students in their studies and may all of them always excel in everything.
In conclusion, I gained plenty of lessons throughout the Social Engagement activities. I learnt how to make digital class instead of conventional class. This teaches me a lot of things such as time management, teamwork, and communication skills. We faced so many things and challenges to make this memorable experience.
