Reppin’ Inkopolis - Sloshers

So this feels like a hot take, but as a Splatoon 2 X-ranker, I don’t actually think Sloshing Machine is overpowered. It’s for sure one of the best weapons in the game, because of course it is, it’s always been a fantastic Main weapon, and in this game it has a stellar kit to boot, with the combo-tastic Fizzy Bomb (generally regarded by top players as being the best Sub in the game) and one of the best Specials in Booyah Bomb. Despite all of this, I would still say that the weapon itself is perfectly fine, the only thing they need to do is fix the hitbox bug it currently has, which I’m certain will happen in the next patch, since it is an actual bug and not an intended feature of the weapon.

If anything, the thing they should change is Fizzy Bomb, and even then, it might not even be Fizzy Bomb that’s the issue, but rather Last-Ditch Effort, which lets you throw two bombs on a full tank with only a single main slot’s worth of abilities. That said Splatoon 3 is a surprisingly well-balanced game considering it just launched, with only a couple of major outliers (Missiles, for one), and most of the weapons that need changes need buffs, not nerf. It’s a pretty good state for the game to be in, all things considered.
