The word slaughter means ‘the killing of a person, murder; the killing of large numbers of persons in battle; the killing of a cattle or sheep for food;" from Old Norse slatr meaning "a butchering, butcher meat," from Proto-Germanic *slagan- “to strike or to hit”
I don’t find it coincidental that slaughter contains the word laughter; slaughter can be rearranged into laughters. In my observation humans are not who is in control of this realm, it’s another faction of beings who find the killing and torture of humans to be fun. (I strongly suspect the greys have something to do with keeping us here. It was after World War II that extraterrestrial sightings greatly increased but there have been mentions of various flying craft and beings throughout history.
Whatever faction it is running This True Man Show, is probably laughing as mankind repeatedly falls for the same deceptions and continously recycles, living lives in this flesh cells in this free range prison controlled by time, money, and all kinds of other illusions.
We are an eternal essence that doesn’t need to rest or eat. It is only the flesh meat suit that needs sleep to regenerate cells; The spirit never sleeps. We enter dimensionally travel while we’re asleep. That’s why we say good morning probably because we’re mourning coming back to these cells. The eternal spirit does not have to eat either. That’s also the flash seat. Having to take the life of another in order to sustain ourselves is completely foreign to our eternal essence. Plants and animals are equal consciousness. It is equally “wrong” to kill a plant or an animal to eat. In a death realm it is best to eat the most nutrient dense food so you can eat the least. I have come to terms with the fact that animal products provide nutrients we need but I do not condone the torture of animals and try to buy local products instead of factory farmed. Unlike whatever creature is controlling this realm and enjoys suffering and I do not get any enjoyment from or have a desire to harm other beings. I’m not so sure something isn’t harvesting humans either

English Has Borrowed From Other Languages
Tumblr media
Hello English students.
Have you ever thought this? “English has so many words, how will I ever remember all the vocabulary!”
Yes there are a lot of words in English, but did you know that English has many words that it “borrowed” from other languages?
Its true. Over the centuries English has ‘borrowed’ or better ‘stolen’ words from other languages, adding them to the dictionary and normal usage by English speakers.
They call these words ‘loanwords’.
Some of these borrowed words might have even come from your native language.
This might make it easier to learn them for your English learning and let you expand your vocabulary rapidly. You can also impress your English-speaking friends by sharing with them the fact that they are borrowed and which language loaned them to English.
Are you ready to look at some of these words? To start with here are TEN common words in English which were borrowed:
They/their – A common pronoun in English which comes from the Old Norse word 'Peir'.
Person – This word came from the Latin 'persona' through French (persone).
Very – A common adjective borrowed from the Old French 'verai', which means 'true'.
Dollar – This word is older than the thing it names. It is a form of 'thaler' from Czech name for the coins minted in 1519 with the Czech lion.
War – This comes from the Old Northern French 'werre'.
Leg and Skin – Both of these words are from the Old Norse They replaced 'shank' and 'hide' respectively. Those words still exist in English, but are only used for animals once slaughtered.
Slaughter – This comes from the Old Norse 'slatr' which meant to butcher for meat.
Skipper – This and many other nautical words are from the Dutch. Skipper is from 'schipper' and is related to 'schip' which relates to the English word 'ship'.
Court –  From Old French 'cort' it was the king’s residence which was often the place assemblies for justice were overseen by a king or prince.
Zero – From the Arabic 'sifr' (cipher) which was 'a figure which stands for naught (nothing)'. You will find that many of the words in English related to trade, numeracy and mathematics can be traced back to Arabic.
English has borrowed so many words it prompted this quote.
“The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.”
James D. Nicoll
