You can take the babyface out of the heel, but you can never take the heel out of Alex Shelley.

During Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary event this evening, there were various stars from the past who made appearances, but one of my favourite surprises was a video message from AJ Styles, who I personally consider to be the face of the promotion:
"It was Huntsville, Alabama, 2002 and myself, Jerry Lynn and Low Ki, wrestled the Flying Elvis'. That's where it all started. That was the first match.
And then from there, it was Jeff Jarrett and Raven, The X Division. The Ultimate X. Elevation X. Matches I will never forget.
My matches with Kurt Angle were unbelievable. But the match that changed everything was myself, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels in 2005. No, we weren't 6'5'',  jacked, but we changed things because of who we were. It wasn't about weight limits, it was about no limits in the X Division.
We transcended wrestling. We changed it.
You, the fans, voted AJ Styles as Most Impactful X Division Wrestler and not only that but the Most Impactful Male Wrestler. Thank you! It means everything coming from you, the fans.
AJ Styles would still be AJ Styles, but how Phenomenal would I be without Impact Wrestling?
I want to thank WWE for allowing me to do this cause they understand that this is a special moment for me. Impact Wrestling, if I had a glass in my hand, I would say, here's to the next 20 years."

I enjoyed Trinity vs Deonna, Trinity is still finding her feet outside of the WWE bubble but having someone like Deonna to lead and base off of is good.
I wouldn’t call it a great match, but certainly a good one, and i’m 100% fine with the title change.
TNA always had the habit of putting the belt on an ex-wwe name instead of their own made talent, but seeing how hot Trinity is coming in, and that techincally this title reign for Deonna wasn’t really suppose to happen, no issues with it.
Now let’s see if Trinity sinks or swims.
