Proper crossovers. Just no. I don't care that nepeta is in a room with some characters from a franchise I've never heard of or hate. The two fandoms almost always mesh uncomfortably and all the already good relationship dynamics are ignored in favour of crossover dynamics, and even that's better than the fandoms ignoring each other because then what's the point of splitting the attention between double the characters? The only good way a crossover has ever been done from what I have seen, is Unda's MC Esher that's my favourite MC. And that was crossing homestucK. With slightly different homestucK. And it still feels liKe the two sides don't mesh great!

Commission work for my lovely friend @/chiryx_creates, their character Shyker! The first two slides are variations on his Hikkantan Nomad outfit (sleeves up and down), and the second two are the winter and summer variations of his Skiane clothing. I had such a blast with this design, and Lyxander is an absolute wonderful person to work with. My personal favourite things I learned to draw throughout this process are the shiny sleeves and the shark skin coat.
