When you cannot join art fight this year because you’re working on your style and technique on a new art program and so far making even a sketch has taken hours of your life. Unable to actually do a full piece at this point because god is against you.

Been testing out different sketchbrushes lately, some on unfinished drawings from over the past few months. Just trying out new things, see if it'll motivate me to draw more/work on the comic. Definitely going to start using a couple of these.

So, I use ClipStudio Paint and I've downloaded A LOT of brushes during the years. It's a great way to fight art block too! Not many survive to regular use tho lol

So, it's very easy to download brushes from the asset store on ClipStudio. A blessing! Heres my main three,

Hey there, absolutely LOVE your art! I recently got an ipad and bought Procreate. Do you have any recommendation for good lineart brushes? Any tips on the settings? Your lineart is so clean and still so subtle, did you create that brush on your own or have you bought it somewhere? Sorry for the onslaught of questions, your artstyle is just such an inspiration for me!

Heyho! Thank you for your nice words on my art💕  So I don’t use Procreate that often (I’m mainly a Photoshop kid) but it’s still fun to sketch with. I turn off tilt on all my brushes, because i don’t like to control via pen pressure.  I can give you my most used brushes, download them HERE. One of these brushes is originally from frankentoon, but I edited it and I don’t even know anymore which set it was...but they have good brushes in general, check them out!  The other two “Zerlaufene Tusche” and “Ink Bleed Soft” are edited Procreate brushes (both actually the same, just the german and english version.  And then there is the trusty Sketchbrush i made myself. I usually use the Marker for very rough fast sketch and then make a drawing over top of that sketch with one of the other brushes (how I feel each day)
