The crowds of visitors who invaded monuments and museums with enthusiasm and passion demonstrate the enormous and transversal attraction that cultural assets are capable of exerting.
Making culture open and participatory, giving people the freedom to use it so that this creates an experience. Not a simple passage to say "I've been there", but something deeper, which puts you in contact on a cognitive and even more emotional level with what you are going through.
Last night there were those who flocked to museums, without necessarily having a background in art studies. It does not matter. Someone turns up their noses but I say it doesn't matter. Exchanging impressions among strangers in front of a sinopia or a work by Giovanni Pisano is sharing, it is love for beauty, it is creating an experience.
Last night there were those who entered the cathedral, those who preferred the concert, those who went to the museums and those who simply stayed to play on the lawns in front of the monuments. It was a perfectly successful collective ritual because it was free. Everyone was put in a position to react to art and beauty as they felt.
This is my idea of culture, art and anthropology.

Camposanto di Pisa
La visita dei monumenti situati nella Piazza del Duomo di Pisa continua con il Camposanto Monumentale.
Nel 1277 fu creato il Camposanto, il cimitero della cattedrale il cui chiostro interno è formato da bellissime arcate a sesto acuto decorate. Nei corridoi vi sono sarcofagi e sepolcri di personaggi locali illustri mentre nella cappella Aulla è conservata la cosiddetta lampada di Galileo, una lampada originariamente conservata nella cattedrale che diede lo spunto allo scienziato per la teoria dell’isocronismo del pendolo.
Ma la vera bellezza sta negli affreschi realizzati nel ‘300 e nel ‘400 grazie ai quali questo luogo può essere considerato la “Cappella Sistina dei pisani”, in particolare “Il trionfo della Morte” ed il “Giudizio Universale” realizzati da Francesco Traini e Bonamico Buffalmacco le cui sinopie sono conservate nel Museo delle Sinopie.

Colour meta of episode 4 of KinnPorsche part 02
part one
The 'Dictionary of Symbols' by Jean Chevalier classifies green as being midway between Blue of Heaven and Red of Hell, it mediates between heat and cold and high and low - it's easy to interpret this as Vegas (green) meddling between Kinn (red) and Porsche (blue) by way of drugging Porsche and pushing him towards a sexual encounter with Kinn, helping them connect a little more.
And as bad a colour green seems to represent in this show, it actually has a dual meaning - because as much as it stands for the green of slime and putrefaction, the greenish complexion of the sick or more recently for envy, don't forget green is the colour of renewal when winter cedes way to spring, it signifies hope, strength, longevity even immortality. So I'm interpreting the presence of the colour green in the hotel bathroom sex as being a mix of both bad (Porsche is drugged, his consent is questionable) and good (there's hope).
A further analysis of green, albeit with a western lens, touches on its Heraldic tincture (heraldry is a discipline relating to the design, display and study of armorial bearings). In English, green is known as 'vert' but when it comes to French, the term is 'sinople' which is derived from the Latin 'sinopis' originally meaning the reddish brown soil (or pigment derived from it) which came from the Black sea port of Sinope; it was around the 14th century that 'sinople' acquires the meaning of green while still retaining that of red - the hidden meaning of green derives from the fact that it contains red.
And if that is not convincing enough, in all mythologies the green deities of annual renewal spend the winter in the Underworld where they are regenerated by chtonian red, as a result, they are externally green but internally red. Is that ringing a bell?
Look how the window shines green, the external coating hiding the true deep-red colour of Vegas - the fact that Vegas is completely disrobed hammers the message further in, he has nothing to hide in this moment, alone he's showing his true colours.
This is why I think Vegas is going to be in juxtaposition to Kinn - they both project the colour red but while Kinn's is more of a bright red radiating outward with a diurnal quality to it, tonic, stimulating, Vegas' is more of a deep-red, projecting inward, nocturnal and secret (Kinn shows red in public however discreet but Vegas shows it in private), flashing like a warning. Vegas' red, when externalized, is dangerous as the uncontrolled lust for power leading to self-absorption, hatred, blind passion and obsession. And just like green, red connects within it the two most profound human impulses: doing and suffering, freedom and tyranny.
While I'm on the subject of colour, let me also project a bit on Pete.
In the hidden messages he's the blue to Vegas' red and let me tell you what Chevalier has to say about blue is so freaking poetic it gave me goosebumps!
Blue is the most insubstantial of colours, it seldom occurs in the natural world except as a translucency, that is to say as an accumulation of emptiness, the void of the heavens, of the depths of the sea, of crystal or diamond. Emptiness is austere, pure and frosty and in it's absolute quality, the purest, apart from the total void of matte white.
Apply the colour blue to an object and it will reduce, cut open and destroy it's shape - insubstantial in itself, blue disembodies whatever becomes caught on it.
If before I was afraid for Pete, know I'm projecting so hard this notions on them both, I'm weeping just thinking about Vegas dissolving into Pete!
