🍎 ACNH School Set ✏️

48 Now 49 items (I added a school bell for the wall) | Sims 4, Base game compatible.

As usual, all original swatches included with lots of extras added by me! ☺️💗 I'm very excited to share the Monarch butterfly Breeding Project, which I made myself. When I was in school we raised some Monarchs and released them when they emerged & matured, it was really cool AND I love to share items that also raise some kind of awareness on important issues when the inspiration strikes me. Saving the Monarch butterflies is definitely one of them! You can read about how to help them here.

Type “ACNH School” into the search query in build mode to find quickly. You can always find items like this, just begin typing the title and it will appear.

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

Use the scale up & down feature on your keyboard to make the items larger or smaller to your liking. If you have a non-US keyboard, it may be different keys depending on which alphabet it uses. (I used this to "hang" the backpacks from the hook on the side of the student desk in the preview image above, for instance. To put it at the correct height, raise the backback 2 times.)

Hi all! It's the next update of the Chill Valicer Save, bringing us to Spring Sunday in the game and my birthday in real life! So everybody be nice and like this update. :p Today was another day spent largely at the store, so let's get straight into it --

-->Started with a few werewolf shenanigans from Alice -- thanks to her and Victor's amazing bed, she was full energy around 4:30 AM, and as she was already pretty Furious, I decided her task for the morning would be to knock herself over the edge so she could RAMPAGE and then immediately regain control with her Fury reset. She thus got sent outside to transform into her beast form and do werewolf stuff – marking her territory, howling, smelling and scavenging for treasures (nothing good though -- scavenging doesn't actually turn up stuff most of the time, I've noticed), things like that. *shrug* Sometimes, you just gotta indulge the beast!

-->While that was going on, Smiler finished off another computer chip and a mechanism on the robotics bench, then wandered into the living room to prune the regrown bonsai into a playful shape. I allowed this because I was curious as to what a "playful shape" was -- turns out it's a freezer bunny. XD I quite like that!

-->Victor woke up a little bit later with a talent point in hand – I had him spend it on “Charge Control” to reduce the amount of charge he builds up from casting spells (and as he does a LOT of that, it’s an important upgrade!), then head downstairs to do some laundry, which came with some free flirting from Smiler. :p Once everything was in the wash, he got dressed and headed into his greenhouse to check on all of his plants, and Smiler headed to the cow paddock to go refill Moory’s feed and check on the cow. Because we can't have this fussy cow deciding we don't love her, after all! After making sure she was good, I decided to have Smiler tip her (in Sims terms, this means “making it rain” simoleons in front of your cow) to get some enriched milk from the day's milking, then left them to it while I checked in on Alice! How was her proto-"rampage" going?

-->Well, uh, turns out she was rather more into cleaning up puddles and chatting with inanimate objects (like Victor's lettuce). Which, I couldn't object to the former, at least, even if it wasn't in my plan for her for the day. I was determined to knock her over the edge into a proper RAMPAGE, though, so after sending her to feed Toothy, I had her start going places FEROCIOUSLY and marking her territory to kick up the old Fury...

Trimmable Bonsai Plant (A Collab With Episims)

@episims and myself teamed up to make a cool little object - a plant converted from Sims 4 that can be trimmed into different shapes!

There are 10 shapes in total, 9 pretty ones and 1 failed. First 5 basic shapes are available with any nature enthusiasm while others appear after reaching level 5.

Trimming and viewing the bonsai gives a sim nature enthusiasm (can be trimmed by teens and up but children can still view it). Bad mood may result in failed trimming shape (pay attention to sim's reaction when that happens) and viewing this miserable plant looks funny ;) In 2 days the plant will overgrow and you can trim it again.

The bonsai comes with all the original pot and stand recolors and can be found under Hobbies/Misc for 210 simoleons.

Polycount: ranging from 781 to 1623 polys Texture sizes: 128x128, 256x256 and 512x256

Presidio Tv Stand and Wall Shelves for The Sims 2

These are 4to2 conversions from Onyxium, low poly. Tv stand and Television are a single object, while shelves are separates. When you put the tv in your game it will have a grey screen for a moment but then it turns black (idem when sims turn off the tv). I put a bunch of bonsai on the shelves and stand slots to let you see the placement. 4 colors. See the original post for better pictures (I'm not good as an interior designer ahahah)

Sims | Hawk Moskowitz

Thank you @sensei-venus for putting this out there. I just had to write a whole thing about it because duh. So here we go, some fluff with a dash of sims.

When Reader was tidying up her apartment she shared with Hawk, she didn't anticipate getting sidetracked. She was just cleaning off his desk, making sure not to bump into his gaming computer as she did so, but of course she hit the mouse. The screen came to life so brightly, showing her the last game he'd been playing and it made her giggle.

He Sims 4 was still open, but the game was paused. The camera was hovering over a room in the house centered on a Sim that looked a lot like her boyfriend, with a large mohawk, shirtless and covered tattoos. It made her giggle and she sat down to take a closer look.

She was taking a little tour of the house to see everything Hawk had put into it. It was obvious a lot of time and effort was put into it, the house itself rather big with three levels, including a basement, and a backyard filled with little bonsai trees. It was stunning for a game house and she loved it, all of the decor matching with their own style that they'd curated for themselves in the little apartment that they called home.

There with photos on the wall, all of her favorite plants and flowers set up inside or around the property, big stylish windows like she's always wanted. As she noticed the greenhouse attached to the main building, she realized her boyfriend has built her dream home in the game. All the talks about what she wanted in that department hadn't fallen on deaf ears, she already knew that, but to see it reflected in the game was heartwarming and sweet.

As she looked at the pictures of the sims in the house, she saw herself reflected as well. Her body was chubby and her style was on point, as she would come to learn that he'd downloaded costum content to get the clothes right as well as her hair. She was so flattered, so in love, so giggly.

It didn't take her long to find the other sim occupants as well, including one dog, one cat, and two little infant babies.

As she clicked to view the babies, she found them happily asleep in their cribs. The room they were in was decorated in all pinks and purples, with a princess castle on the floor and long drapes over the windows. Two twin girls with full bellies laid asleep, well cared for. She awed at their cute little faces and the names that had been chosen for them. As she looked at their stats and everything, she discovered one was a little more shy while the other was outgoing.

Only when she found the pictures on the wall of her sim pregnant and Hawk's sim fussing over her belly did she come to a realization. She blushed as she wondered, does he want kids? Is that what this means?

She put the game back the way she found it and hurried to clean up the area like she had planned on doing in the first place. Though she tried buying herself with the tidying and chores, she couldn't stop thinking about the game. She tried to tell herself that it was just a game, but at the same time she had a feeling it was much more than that...

Several days passed before she decided to ask Hawk. She didn't want him to know she had seen his game, believing it was fairly private, so when she did it, she kept that part out of it. She kept it casual, almost too casual, as they cuddled up on the couch watching one of their comfort shows. It popped into her mind again and she simply asked,

"Do you ever think about having kids?"

He looked at her, then shrugged as he turned back to the TV. "Yeah, sometimes."

She could tell that he was trying to act really casual about it, but his body was a little tense under her all of a sudden and she knew better.

"And?"

"Yeah, I guess I'd like to have kids some day." He quickly cut a look her way, eyes unreadable. "What about you?"

She smiled at him. "Yeah... well, I mean, I've thought about it before but it didn't really come back to me until recently."

She got a little shy and looked away from him. He paused their show and say up a bit, making her shift and sit up too.

"Reader, is this your way of asking something?"

She looked up at him, cheeks growing warm. "I mean, maybe."

She didn't really know. She didn't know where this would go, having not thought that far ahead inall of this. She bit her lip and looked away from him.

He gently took her chin in between his the and index finger, then turned her face to look at him again. He spoke softly.

"Is this your way of asking me if I wanna have a baby with you?" He asked her. He looked into her eyes with his warm blue ones amd it was like swimming in the ocean on a summer's day. "Because if so, I'm all for it... because that's something I want with you more than anything."

"Really?" she asked just as softly.

He nodded and she smiled wide. She leaned into him and kissed him, throwing her arms around him and he caught her as they fell back onto the couch cushion. He groaned against her lips, enjoying the excitement and passion behind her force. With that sort of energy, they were making out in no time, their clothes slowly falling to the floor piece by piece.

There was little planning to it, little thought other than "we want this together," and while neither of them said they were "trying," they knew in their hearts what they were doing. Hawk didn't have to know it was all thanks to his little game.

For some small tweaks TwistedMexi’s T.O.O.L. mod was used, but you don’t need the mod in your game for this to show up the way I built it.

Known issue: While I was playtesting, my sim sometimes couldn't wash any dishes in the kitchen sink. Any other interactions with the sink would work without problems though (like taking a glass of water or washing their hands). Deleting the lamp above the sink seems to be the easiest way to fix this. Alternatively, you'd just have to drag the dishes into the sink manually. Sorry for this inconvenice, everything else should work fine though.

(I know I could have swapped out the lamp right away before uploading the build, but the whole issue was somewhat confusing (as I sometimes got the sink to function without having to delete the lamp, so I wasn't sure what was actually causing the issue). I'm also trying to explain it in the video, but yeah, at some point I just gave up and left the lamp where it was... Sorry again...)

Tag 19. 22.07.2023

Aal. Wir standen erst gegen 11:00 Uhr auf, es ging ja erst 04:00 Uhr ins Bett. Wir liefen zuerst ins 7/11 um SIM-Karten zu kaufen und Bargeld zu holen, Japan hat nämlich, wie Deutschland, mit dem kontaktlosen Bezahlen noch Schwierigkeiten. Webster staunte dann als er im Supermarkt durch die Gänge lief - frisch plus super Qualität. Kurz daraufhin ging’s in die Gärten des Palastes des japanischen Kaisers. Wir beäugten neidisch die Bonsai-Bäume und genossen die Stille der Gärten.

Es ging danach zum Hauptbahnhof, wo wir unsere vorbestellten JR-Bahnpässe abholten („Japan Railroad“). Mit den Pässen können wir jeden Intercity-Zug in Japan aussuchen, was uns für die kommende Wochen willkommene Flexibilität gibt. Wir holten uns zudem eine zusätzliche Öfi-Karte für den Transport innerhalb aller japanischen Städte (Suica Card). Allerdings hatten wir kontinuierlich Probleme unser Englisch anzuwenden, hier wird nämlich ausschließlich japanisch gesprochen, Google Übersetzer war also ein Lebensretter.

Am Abend ging’s dann zum Tokyo-Tower, ein beeindruckendes Konstrukt mit verblüffender Ähnlichkeit dem Eiffelturm gegenüber. Wir suchten nach dem Kartenkauf ein Restaurant und fanden eine versteckte Gaststätte, die seit 200 Jahren Aal mit Reis verkaufen. Wir zogen vorm Essen unsere Schuhe aus und setzen uns auf hockerartige Stühle mit nur einer Armlehne (nach einer Begründung suchen wir noch, Ideen?). Der Aal kam in einer Bentobox, als Beilage gabs eingelegtes Gemüse, eine Kräutersuppe und ein Suntory-Bier vom Fass. Sojasauce gabs nicht, jedoch durften wir japanischen Pfeffer auf unseren Aal prieseln - köstlich. Die Mahlzeit gefiel uns enorm - unsere Lieblingsmahlzeit bisher, sorry Nic!

Day 19. July 22, 2023

Eel. We didn't get up until 11:00 a.m. since we went to bed at 4:00 a.m. first. We walked to the 7/11 initially to buy SIM cards and get cash, as Japan, like Germany, still faces difficulties with contactless payment. Webster was amazed as he walked through the supermarket aisles - fresh and high-quality products. Shortly after that, we visited the gardens of the Japanese Emperor's palace. We gazed enviously at the bonsai trees and enjoyed the tranquility of the gardens.

After that, we headed to the main train station, where we picked up our pre-booked JR rail passes ("Japan Railroad"). With these passes, we can choose any intercity train in Japan, which will provide us with welcome flexibility for the coming weeks. We also got an additional public transport card for traveling within all Japanese cities (Suica Card). However, we continuously struggled to use our English since only Japanese is spoken here, and Google Translator was a lifesaver.

In the evening, we visited the Tokyo Tower, an impressive structure with a striking resemblance to the Eiffel Tower. We looked for a restaurant and stumbled upon a hidden eatery that has been selling eel with rice for 200 years. Before the meal, we took off our shoes and sat on stool-like chairs with only one armrest (we are still looking for an explanation, any ideas?). The eel was served in a bento box, and as sides, we had pickled vegetables, a herbal soup, and draft Suntory beer. There was no soy sauce, but we were allowed to sprinkle Japanese pepper on our eel – it was delicious. We immensely enjoyed the meal – our favorite one so far, sorry, Nic!

We took the elevator up to the Tokyo Tower, where we admired Tokyo at night from a height of 150 meters. Surprisingly, we stayed up there for an hour and a half, watching a short documentary about the construction, destruction, and subsequent rebuilding of Tokyo since its first settlement in the 1500s. Then, we walked back to the subway station and are currently watching the qualifying session for tomorrow's Formula 1 race in Hungary. We send our best wishes to the family in London, and soon they will be at Wenzel's graduation in Leeds. To all other readers, have a lovely Sunday!

Trees Default Replacement

This is a texture default replacement for almost all trees found in game.

Most of the textures were doubled in size for higher detalization. However, because of how the meshes were made, some textures may appear more stretched/blurry than others. All trees got new seasonal textures where necessary.

Trees affected:

Bay, birch, bamboo 3x3, breadfruit, all crabapple trees, cypress, hibiscus, maple, pine, willow, both BV bonsai pines, dead tree and all douglas pines.

There’s also an additional package that will remove trunk shadow on all dougles pines. It works with maxis textures too.

Crabapple mesh edit fixes mapping and gets rid of bits of trunk texture floating among leaves (works with mexis textures too).

I’ve also included a mesh edit for the willow tree leaves which will make it more lush:

With this edit willow’s mesh passes from 1257 polys to 3331 (for comparison, the basegame bay tree is 4929 polys). Also, this edit concerns only spring, summer and autumn states and is compatible with any texture replacement for it.

Three additional replacements, for ivy, trellis ivy (only plant part) and for base game weeds:

The ivy replacement already has my no sheen fix, so you can delete it if you had it.

New weeds mesh is actually lower poly than the original one (old is 893 and new is 218) but with a bigger texture. It’s an extracted and modified Sims 4 mesh with various Witcher 3 grass textures.

Almost all textures come from Witcher 3, extracted by saricoya and shared here, the rest was found online. Ivy texture was extracted from this Skyrim mod by mathy79.

All replacements are separated so you can pick and choose only what you want in your game.

After a long night, the eight competitor sims had their first challenge...bonsai shaping. Most of the sims did pretty well...even Derek. I had to laugh when he took his selfie in front his shrub. I had no idea he was even sad. Seems these sims don’t like a jerk and he’s being isolated.
