Omg you write for trans readers too?? 💞
Could you write something with Ghost being really gentle and praising an ftm reader?
He’s my hyperfixation rn and almost no one writes ftm stuff for him
No worries if not! I love your blog!
Tags: ftm!reader, reader is 21+, pre-established relationship, praise, sfw, fluff, chest binding, crying (happy tears I promise).
A/n: 🥺. (Also if anyone has any idea why some of these tags i put at the bottom aren't "working" then please help me out in the comments lmao)
You’re standing in front of the mirror, looking at yourself, you turn to your side, looking at the binder you have on, the one he bought you. He sees you from the bed, laying on his back with his left hand behind his neck. You’ve recently talked about binding, and how you wanted to try it one day soon, so he felt as though he needed to learn more about binders, from the purposes of it, to its dos and don’ts, to the brands. He saw a good brand, and guessed your size, buying you two binders in case one of them doesn’t fit you. He wanted to surprise you, and he did.
You smiled to yourself as you saw your body in the mirror. “How does it feel, love? Does it fit well?”, “Perfect…this one fits much better than the other one, I look…”, you contemplate your reflection for a long moment, then continue, “good, I look good, and I feel good…thank you, Simon.”. He smiles at you cheekily, proud of himself, “You don’t need to thank me love, I’d do anything for you.”.
You slowly make your way to your shared bed, slowly draping yourself over his body, kissing his lips while straddling him as he lazily puts his hand around your waist. “You look good in it sunshine,”, he looks at your face, then at your body on his, taking in your whole appearance, “so handsome.”. You beam at him, cheeks slowly turning red. “So handsome, so fucking lovely, my pretty boy,”, he holds your waist with his hand, gently squeezing the flesh there, “All mine, yeah?”. You nod your head, unable to form any words as tear start to form in your eyes from joy, he loves you, he loves you so very much. “Don’t cry, don’t cry love, come ‘ere…”, he pulls you onto his chest gently, wrapping his loving arms around you as you hide your face in the crook of his neck, smiling.
(Divider by vase-of-lilies)!

Opera on YouTube
I've shared links to complete opera performances before, but I love to share them, so I thought I'd make a few masterposts.
These list are by no means the only complete filmed performances of these operas on YouTube, but I decided that ten links for each opera was enough for now.
By the way, some of the subtitles are just a part of the video, while others require you to click CC to see them.

Are there, by chance, voice files of the female deputy actually speaking, or a name of the voice actor who recorded the sound effects?
The female Deputy never speaks, but it sounds to me like she has the same voice actor as one of the cultists. You can find a transcript of most of her lines in this document if you search for “CULT_FOLLOWER_FEMALE_05”. One of the Angels might be played by the same person too.
I know Randy Yuen did motion capture for the Deputy in general, and maybe the male Deputy has his voice, but there is no information about who played “CULT_FOLLOWER_FEMALE_05” and the female Deputy…
The actor’s name must be in the credits, however, so probably one of these people:
VOICE TALENT
Doug Abrahams
Marty Adams
Claire Armstrong
Ted Atherton
Kailea Banka
Carolina Bartczak
Lawrence Bayne
Bruce Blain

EVENT 001: SNOWSTORM CHARACTER SHUFFLE.
In preparation for our first event, under the cut you'll find a list of the shuffled character pairings for the upcoming snowstorm, along with further details about the event. As a reminder, the event will officially begin February 1st.

EVENT TIMELINE
IC Timeline: Canonically, the snowstorm will suddenly pass through New York on Tuesday, February 1st.
OOC Timeline: Members will have from February 1st through February 8th to post their initial starters around the snowstorm. After 2/8, no new starters can be posted, but writers are free to continue their event thread until it's conclusion. An announcement will be made on both days when the event has started and ended.
EVENT DETAILS
Now that the pairings are announced, members are encouraged to reach out to the mun of their paired partner to plan out what will occur between the characters. Members are free to take liberties with the snowstorm backdrop to create whatever situational atmosphere they'd like - they can be as comedic, lowkey, absurd, mundane, adrenaline-seeking, or subtle as you'd like! If you're interested in more concrete details prior to the weather report on Tuesday, the 2014 Gulf Coast Winter Storm serves as a reference point!
Pairing Threads:
The primary reason behind the event is to encourage character interaction between characters who may not have engaged with each other before. As such, character threads are highly encouraged between the assigned pairing. Members can choose if they'd prefer to have their threads set during the action of the snowstorm (ex. thread of two character chatting while stuck in an ATM vestibule together until the power comes back on) or after the snowstorm (ex. first thread are characters running into each other two days after being stuck together in the ATM vestibule during the snowstorm).
Threads have no set length, neither in writing nor in IC time. The encounter between characters can be as brief as twenty minutes or as long as an overnighter, while threads can be full on multi-paras or simple gif conversations.
Additional Threads:
Members are also free to take advantage of the setting to engage in other snowstorm related threads during this time period, and are not limited to only engaging with their assigned partner. Other plotted threads and open starters are welcome! (ex. after being freed from the ATM vestibule, your character briefly seeks warmth at a nearby grocery store with other patrons, where an open starter may be set - or they return home to their roommate for a closed starter!)
Additionally, members are free to continue non-event threads!
Please be sure to tag all event threads as bhqevent001 for differentiation purposes.
Happy plotting everyone! An official post will be made once the event has begun on 2/1. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send them to the main!

I had a question about Matty's name (Mathis Quigley Jr). Who chose to name him after dad, Vienne or Quigs? Is it common practice in Alderode to name kids after their parents?
First born son is always named after their dad in Plat society, and first born daughter after mom. If they die, their next born sib gets the name.
Other castes don't have this custom, though naming your kid after someone is seen as a great act of respect. Simon Adelier is named for his maternal grandpa, Mikaila was named after Duane's younger sister who died as a child, Duane himself was named by his mom after an opera tenor she was kind of a fangirl for.
