Higher elevation doesn’t always prove to be cooler lol. Today got hot right about the time we started hiking. Good thing I forgot Abbi’s bottle of water so we had her bucket with us instead!! There’s a technique to staying hydrated! Some of my tips are to drink water before you head out, while you’re hiking and after. AND adding electrolytes really helps too. I finally found an electrolyte drink that is yummy and heathy🧡 Found several edible plants along the way too. Can you name them? Blackberries, rosehips, thimbleberries, huckleberries, salal berries and thistles.
