2022 Canadian Nationals entry #42
Totally off topic note: Seeing Shoya Ichihashi’s retirement announcement today and knowing that it’s the last straw. I’m just going to be indifferent to all splits/retirements. In order to prepare for the inevitable gut shot that will be Roman's retirement and Shoma’s retirement(these better not happen for a long time, I’m talking years. Like after Italy years)
Senior free dance
Lauriault/Le Gac
Thoughts: Marie’s makeup doesn’t match well with her dress
Gilles/Poirier
Thoughts: Piper’s first head to toe showstopper outfit in way too long. AND that spectacular double curve lift. WOW
Lajoie/Lagha
Thoughts: Marjorie, I love this outfit. And the curve lift right before the pair spin. It’s fire. But she needs to do something different with her hair.
Beaudry/Soerenson
Thoughts: Laurence, you should be more careful. You know you can give people(and by people I mean me) orgasms with that outfit?!

2021 Japanese Nationals entry #7
Senior pairs free skate
Yunoki/Ichihashi
Thoughts: SHOYA! Does he need a haircut, yes. But I have missed him so much that we’re going to be happy he’s here anyway.
Senior free dance
Hirayama/Tateno
Thoughts: I love what Kiria did to her hair. Aru’s side profile is a thing of beauty.
Takanami/Nishiyama
Thoughts: the yellow is very striking but I’m going to need some time with these two. They weren’t selling the program for me.
