I think Marinette still hasn't noticed lots of things about Chat Noir and probably thinks he bounces back up pretty easily, which is also a pattern we see her doing in the next few episodes. It's not that she doesn't care about him, far from it, it's more that she hasn't quite grasped all the layers of his fragilities and he's having a hard time showing them to her as well.

But maybe, above all, I wonder if Marinette isn't afraid of the reality that Chat Noir is breakable. That she takes comfort in the fact that he's beside her and happy and alright, and yes Tikki, he's out and about, and? Surely nothing is wrong and it's normal. Surely he's alright, right? Why wouldn't he be? And I think it's way less about Marinette not thinking twice when it comes to him, and more about her not wanting to think twice cause that could be scary. I may be wrong but that's kinda the vibes I got 🤔
