I haven't seen one mention of the Shajaiya massacre today. 02.12.23
Tumblr media
1000 people killed in the blink of an eye. They are not numbers, they are humans. Picture a thousand people and acknowledge how many that is. How many unnecessary kills. We have to find a way to stop this, it isn't enough!

"I want you to get an overhead view of the Massacre of Shajaiya that happened yesterday afternoon. It was the single deadliest massacre of the entire past 2 months. That enormous crater in the earth, and all of that flat space, yesterday morning, were HUGE apartment buildings FULL of at least 1,000 men, women, children, and elders that were all murdered in an instant. This morning I searched EVERYWHERE for a single American or Western media outlet that even mentioned this...- NOTHING. Please forgive the analogy that I am about to give, but several residents who I spoke to directly yesterday said what happened there was the single most surreal moment of their life. What they described for me was something like what we saw in Marvel's Avengers Affinity War - where Thanos snapped his fingers, and half of the world disappeared. @PrinceKouta told me that he still could not believe that everyone he knew, every family, every child that he had just seen hours earlier, just VANISHED. His home vanished and had he not stepped out, he would have vanished too. The United States and Israel reduced the residents of Shajaiya to fine ash and dust. There really weren't even any grisly body parts or limbs as we so often see. Just dust. Composed of the particles that used to be human. Experts have told me the exact weapons sent by the United States that they believed were used here. They shouldn't exist. And they damn sure should not have been used in a crowded urban area. It has spooked and vexed my soul that human beings would ever do this to other humans" — shaunking via instagram
