DARK AETHER STORY UPDATES

Shitting myself. Spoilers below

Okay so basically a new cutscene is out and wow do I gave feelings

The first thing is that Samantha is (likely) still in the Dark Aether. Requiem failed to save her and its safe to say that Weaver and Grey are the ones who didn't take it so well. Or maybe just Grey

Unless she found her own way out, she's still there. I think they're definitely pushing towards her being the Entity. A little predictable but I think Ava being Grey's daughter makes Samantha being the Entity more interesting (if she is)

If she's not the Entity there is definitely some sort of connection

Also, more possible hinting of Ava's (biological) parents

We already know Grey is Ava's birthmother. This could be hinting at Ava's other bio parent (I think it's more implying that her other parent was a part of Requiem, OR that the other parent is actually alive still)

I've seen ppl saying Carver was, and I see why bc he's in the image, but I feel like Carver isn't significant enough for it to really hit if he was the bio father. Like yeah, okay, much more interesting options than him

There's a part of me that feels like it's gonna be Ravenov bc the way he says it plus how he says "are" afterwards. It doesn't seem super likely but I wouldn't be surprised, ig??

I'm getting more and more convinced Ava is actually just the Greysam baby. Sam wasn't freed, but I do think maybe the Requiem members had actually gone in or made some brief contact. Long enough for Sam and Grey to do some crazy ass shit like this. Or Sam's DNA was used to make Ava in their brief meeting

And its not like it's impossible gene wise either. Rare, but not impossible

It could be sperm donation as well. Or maybe she's a test tube baby. Or the 2nd coming

If it's not hinting at the other parent (which isn't unlikely) it could also just be emphasizing who her birthmother is. Idk regardless I think there is a lot more to this part than meets the eye, and the scene itself is not just speaking about her adoptive parents
