Seongnam is a typical hero - a problematic child with a good heart who would do anything for his family. He is little bit lazy, but with some effort he is able to achieve great things. His character is kind of overshadow by his mother the queen, because she is a real star of this drama, but Seongnam is still a great. And lets face it, he is like really handsome and I love his little smirk :)

Fourteen injured in South Korea as man rams car onto footpath and stabs shoppers

A man has rammed a car onto a footpath in South Korea, then stepped out of the vehicle and began stabbing people at a shopping mall, leaving at least 14 people injured in the country's second mass stabbing in a month.
At least five people were hurt by the car, and nine others were stabbed in the attacks that occurred in a crowded leisure district near a subway station in the city of Seongnam, according to Yoon Sung-hyun, an official from the souther Gyeonggi provincial police department.
Authorities arrested a suspect in his 20s at the scene and were questioning him. Police did not identify the man or offer any immediate information about a potential motive.

The head of the National Police Agency described the attack "virtually an act of terrorism".
An official at Gyeonggi's provincial fire department, Ha Dong-geun, said at least two of the wounded were hospitalised in a serious condition.
Photos from the scene showed forensic units examining the halls of the AK Plaza, where the stabbings took places. A white Kia hatchback with a broken front window and ruptured front tire could be seen on a sidewalk near the subway station.
South Korea's Kyunghyang Shinmun newspaper published a video on its website that it said was sent by a witness. The footage showed a man wearing sunglasses and a black hoodies walking up the mall's escalator with an object in his hand.
A witness named Hwang Hee-woon told YTN television that he "heard a sound from the first floor that seemed like a scream, so customers and shop workers were gathering on the rails of the second-floor near the escalator to see what was happening below.

"Suddenly, someone told us the person who committed the crime was coming up to the second floor, so we ran away in panic," he said.
He ended up hiding inside a refrigerated storage room with some mall employees.
Last month, a knife-wielding man stabbed at least four pedestrians on a street in the capital, Seoul, killing one person.
The National Police Agency held an online meeting on Thursday with regional police chiefs to discuss ways to deal with stabbings and other attacks against random targets.
During the meeting, National Police Agency Commissioner Gen. Yoon Hee-keun made the comment about terrorism. Officials discussed increasing nighttime patrols in leisure districts and other crowded areas and strengthening security camera surveillance, according to the agency.

K League 2 Seongnam signs Brazilian striker Gabriel from Ansan
Professional soccer K League 2 (2nd Division) Seongnam FC announced on the 18th that it has signed Brazilian striker Gabriel (27).
Gabriel, who stands at 184 centimeters tall and weighs 78 kilograms and is known for his fast speed and dribbling, joined the Ansan Greeners of the K-League 2 in February and completed his adaptation to the domestic stage with four goals and two assists in 18 games.
Before coming to the K League, Gabriel played in South American leagues, including Brazil, where he recorded five goals and two assists in 59 games over five years.
Seongnam head coach Lee Ki-hyung said, "We've been struggling with a series of injuries in the offense, and we expect Gabriel to fill the void well."
Gabriel said, "I joined the team late, but I know the club's goals better than anyone. I'm looking forward to working together to help Seongnam rebound."

Synopsis: Queen Hwaryeong is supposed to act with grace and dignity, but she has sons who are troublemaker princes. She gives up on those protocols and she struggles to change her sons into eligible princes through education.
Positives: It's really beautiful and sweet drama. The queen is really the main star and she steels the show for herself. She is the best, I was rooting for her and her sons a lot. There are beautiful costumes, amazing soundtrack, cute and also sad moments This show has everything.
Negatives: I really have a problem to fully understand the relationships in the royal court and it took me few episodes to familiarise myself with all the characters. I also wasn't that impressed about the romance part, but it's not the main storyline.
Conclusion: Very good costume drama, perfect balance between classical historycal story full of intriques and feel good drama about family, motherhood and love.
Action: 6/10 Romance: 6/10 Intriques: 9/10 Blood: 4/10 Whump: 5/10 Friendship: 8/10 Emotions: 9/10 Humor: 7//10

I really love Cheong-ha and the parallels between her and Seongnam and her and the Queen.
Like Seongnam, Cheong-ha didn’t have a traditional upbringing. Seongnam spent the first 10 years of his life living as a commoner. Because of her illness/anticipated death, Cheong-ha was allowed a lot more freedom and was able to do things that girls of a noble status weren’t able to do. As a result, both of them have a better understanding of the lives of common people and have a sense of justice because of it.
The Queen and Cheong-ha are also very similar. They both have a sense of justice and want to stand up for those who are in vulnerable positions. The Queen did it with the woman who was raped and in creating Hyewolgak. Cheong-ha did it when she stood up for the divorced woman to make sure that she got a fair payment for her hairpin. Cheong-ha even has a similar way of seeing the world as the Queen does. We can see it in her answer about the injustice that there are seven reasons a man can divorce his wife while there are only 3 reasons a wife can not be made to divorce her husband.
Obviously, the big difference between Cheong-ha and Seongnam and the Queen is the fact that she hasn’t been exposed to politics and the reality of the palace. Both the Queen and Seongnam have had to become more shrewd and cunning to survive in the palace. Cheong-ha is now in the palace, so she’s going to be learning that lesson.
It’ll be interesting to see how the experience changes Cheong-ha. She’ll have the benefit of having a Queen/Queen figure who isn’t out to destroy her but actually wants to support her. So, we might actually get a glimpse into what the Queen could have been like if she wasn’t having to be in fight mode for all of her time as the Crown Princess/Queen.
