So, knowing Kansumi is really close to the Sumi gang would you say Ace and Deuce wouldn't get a little jealous? 👀

♤~ KanSumi blinks as a question is addressed directly to them, lifting a finger to their chin as they think for a moment before giggling. Tucking their hijab into their neck a little bit more, they adjust their position on their chair to face you fully and snicker. ~♤

“As if those two would let even a hint of their own jealousy show, even if they were. Or at least, as if they’d ever let themselves do that in a way they thought I’d notice. But yeah, I’ve noticed.”

They snicker again and crack their knuckles as they talk.

“Grim’s been the most pouty and vocal on it but the other two do their best to pretend to not care. I know they were hurt at first when I started hanging out with the squad over them but... it was kind of hard not to. We’re all so different but we’re still so similar, it’s so nice to just have a group of people who always understand what you mean. But at the same time, I did always offer for them to join us. They never really did after the first time, I think Afa- ah, Sumi B- scares them...”

As if overhearing, Kraitan bounds over and holds onto the back of KanSumi’s chair, butting in.

“Ooooh~ Are you talking about Acey and Deucey and Gory Gory the great magician~?”

“They’ll all try to kill you if they hear you told someone else you call them that.”

Kraitan tut-tutted and shook his head, grinning.

“They’ll try to kill me, we all know they won’t. Ace got onto Khattar-nee’s bad side with his meaner jokes to Gallidi once and I really doubt he’d like to repeat the experience.”

KanSumi nods, subconsciously scratching the side of their head.

“Yeah... I think you’re the main one they both get along with out of the squad.”

Kraitan tilted his head before replying with a shrug.

“They talk with Gallidi sometimes too but I think they mainly find us all weird. Sucks for them I guess.”

KanSumi nods, laughing again but more as a reflex.

“Yeah... I kinda hoped you’d all just get along but oh well. They’ve gotten a lot better about it now that we only hang out in the club.”

Kraitan leans more on the chair, propping an elbow on it.

“That’s good. But, y’know... speaking of jealousy... we got a fair share of that here too, don’t we?”

KanSumi waves him off, turning back to you with a light smile.

“Don’t derail the conversation, it’s a story for another time. Anyway, did that answer your question?”
