" Ah? Pleasure to explain my hypothesis to a fellow mind and a fan.
Let's see... A gen one Porygon is the ideal specimen for any sort of restructure and reprograming. While there are Porygon even found wild at this time due to the boom of technology it can augment from; I would need a base from it's very first run. A birthdate between 1996 and 1999 in this case. Newer Porygon have their codes mixed and messed from who knows what sources once they escaped into the internet during it's mass boom in use at the start of the 21st century. I couldn't work with any of those knowing there might be malicious malware or poor coding that would doom the whole thing from the start.
Of course there's a con to a gen one Porygon as well. Technology back then was incredibly new...so there's plenty of uncanny bugs to say the least. Clipping through objects, freezing mid frame or walk cycle and being incredibly slow in comparison to today's specimens.
But not a problem. With some elbow grease and a very careful hand I can recode and fix those errors so its new form is removed from bugs. Infact...perhaps if I can pinpoint the nature of some of them they can be useful even! "

she sends a peon who's already in bad standing in cipher, with no knowledge of anything beyond his own assignments with the pokemon for him. a vulpix, ready to bite as soon as it would be released from it's cage.
There was a reason he wore gloves. Thick material that has the underlayer of what was likely kelvar. His own movements were quick, careful, efficient...yet somehow gentle. Moved to simply open the grab, first grabbing the snout and jaw of the vulpix, holding it tightly closed so that it couldn't bite anyone--let alone him. He adjust his grip, then moved his other hand to lift out the creature's body.
" it's a shame. what they've done to you... "
He hummed lightly, gaze moving up at down the snarling fire type, no mind, only a closed heart and an instinct to attack. How he despised his technology even be related to the process at all, if not for the benefits made through the process being discovered--and purification being actively researched...A testing ground, and as unfortunate as it was, Orre would always be that.
He just wished it could be restricted to the people...rather than the pokemon. Even so, he didn't look angry in that moment, a smile soon creeping over his lips as he flicked a finger for one of the scientists to come over with a syringe in hand.
" don't worry though...you'll be very useful, and at the end of it all, your heart will be open again, you will be free. "
He hummed, his grip tightening to restrain any movements as his fellow scientist pierced the needle into the creature's neck. A silver-like fluid flowing into it's body, causing it to briefly convulse before passing out. Finally, his hand released the jaw of the vulpix and he moved it to simply stroke it's head, holding it close as one might a child.
" you will be just fine...beautiful, even. "
Lysandre held the creature a little longer, before setting it down on a table next to a rather strange looking device. He then glanced towards the Peon, softness fading as soon as it had came as he glared. The smile on his face just barely still visible.
" your presence is no longer needed, i'm afraid. do take care of this. "
Unfortunately, this one had seen a little too much. The shadow of the head scientist's Malamar spreading overcross the Cipher peon. It will at least be painless.

"Maybe it is human nature, but does that mean we don't have to do anything to try to change it?" It's an earnest thought, and her argument truly does not sit well with him. He can't bear the thought of being utterly fine with hurting others, just because it's something they as a species seem inclined towards.

Lovrina considered the child. So, little boy had an even littler sister. A big brother, no wonder he was like that when she had asked for his help convincing that no good stubborn professor. “Aww, it sounds like he’s been such a good assistant to you! But you know, he’s been super mean to me, ruining years and years of hard work.” She hated to do it, but she leaned down to the girl’s level. “Everything I’ve ever wanted, and he just took them all away. Does that sound nice to you?”
She paused to consider the woman’s words. She sounded super upset. She was pretty sure her brother hadn’t done anything bad, though! He was one of the good guys. Professor Krane even trusted him with that snaggy thingy and everything! She didn’t want Lovrina to be upset, though! She was such a pretty looking lady- just like her mom! And Jovi didn’t like seeing her mom upset either.
“Big brother is always nice to Jovi!” Even though she wasn’t always so nice to him. “Are you sure you weren’t just doing something bad? Jovi’s only seen big brother do mean things to people who do bad things!” Like, you know. Stealing. But stealing was okay as long as it was to save those nice Pokémon, right? Oh! Maybe that was the problem. “Did big brother steal your Pokémon, too??? Jovi can ask him to give them back once we help them!”
