After four months of use I can say that I've been really impressed with the @casstromknives Forest Knife. It is the only knife I currently own with the Scandvik 14C28N steel. This steel is commonly found it quality folding EDC knives, pocket knives, and razors. it makes for a steel that can be sharpened into a razor type of blade easily. The blade retention is above average, and it also has high corrosion resistance due to the added nitrogen in the steel. For a high mid-range steel, the ability for it to become razor sharp is admirable. 🇸🇪🔪🇸🇪🔪 I also love the appearance of the curly birch handle. We don't have curly birch here in Michigan, it's prevalent in Scandinavia. Curly grained wood is a hereditary transformation of silver birch. It makes the tree twisted and bush-like. Curly grained birch can also have a straight trunk, in which case it provides beautiful and valuable quality wood. I love the look, feel, and traditional feel of this Swedish forest knife. It has been reprofiled and rehandled in some brown tufnol with thick black g-10 liners and carbon fiber pins  etched and all over stonewash finish .

I’m still planning to make up a kydex sheath for it too .
