"Isn't that time of year coming up again?" "Oh, you're right..." crck-cra-crk "What a pain." Strands of straw scratched the desk as pale hands picked them up, twisting them together. "Does anyone at school know?" "Mm... no." click clck "They love me too much to ask such an invasive question... the people in Fukazawa loved me, too, but Hidari Wakibara's just nicer about it." A small piece of string was pulled off the desk, the spool it had been preemptively cut from only a few inches away. A half-finished doll of straw crackled as nimble fingers picked it up. Long bits of straw extending out from the mostly-empty armhole were grabbed, and the extra straw tucked itself in. More string was reached for.

(Or, after surviving Fuchi's attack in the swamp, Souichi and his family move to Hidari Wakibara for a fresh start. My brain thought of this and wouldn't shut up about it esp bc no one else was interested, so I made this.)

The Babysitter-Souichi Tsujii x Reader

Summary: You remember the times when you used to babysit one of your odd neighbors, now you revisit your town for a while and get an offer for a job.

I got myself off the train and was greeted by my family and their neighbors the Tsuji's. I placed my suitcase down and greeted every single one of them, I tiredly smiled back and was reminded of the many memories I created here when I was just a child. "Mother, Father it is so great to see you again. I'm sorry I couldn't visit earlier." I said feeling ashamed at being so focused on my job.

"Don't you worry about it, job comes first after all." My mother dismissed my apology and gave me another smile.

"My my (Y/N)! You've into such a beautiful lady." Mother Tsuji said and hugged me right after my mother did. Since I was little I used to call the neighbors Mother and Father Tsuji, they didn't minded at all.

Mother and Father Tsuji came in with their two kids, now an adult like me. Koichi and Sayuri. "It's been years since we last hung out!" They both said with smiles on their faces.

"We gotta hang out later tonight for drinks, our cousins Michina and Yuusuke visited us just a week ago. It would've been nice for all of us to be together." Sayuri told me.

Mother Tsuji smiled and quickly glanced at her side and shouted her third child's name. "Souichi! Don't be rude and come out here."

Now I truly remember him. Souichi was the odd kid at our school and within his own family, he used to be fascinated by voodoo and would always outside late at night nailing dolls onto trees, he was always sucking on nails too. I wonder if he changed.

He used to be so whiny and deep down was scared at random things and myself, since I was his babysitter he would have to obey me and let's say I kinda was a bully to him back in the day.

Souichi came out from wherever he was and stepped forward, I was surprised that I had to look up at him. He was definitely taller than anyone here, so that's the only thing that changed from him, he's still pale and has messy black hair but he turned out to be a bit.. attractive?

Mother Tsuji pinched him making him jump up a bit. "(Y/N)..it's nice to have you again." He said looking at me for a second before looking away. "Alright! Let's go to our home, I prepared a meal for us all." His mother said quickly before things got awkward.

"Hey, don't be rude and help (Y/N) and with her luggage." Koichi scolded his younger brother which was funny since Souichi was taller.

In less than 10 minutes we were at our neighbors home. I got rid of my shoes and sat down on the tatami floor with the rest of the family and friends, all of us joking around and remembering our childhood.

"I remember when you used to hang out here often, Souichi just wouldn't leave you alone so you'd always beat him up..well sorta." Sayuri said and I remembered the few times I hit Souichi.

"His entire face would turn red, but I don't think it was because he was crying." Koichi said smirking. "Seriously, when people bully each other it's because they find the other individual attractive."

I nearly choked on my tea when Koichi was that. "Well it wasnt l-like that for me!" I defended myself and hoped they wouldn't believe that. Truth me told i kinda liked Souichi but couldn't stand his creepiness deep down.

"Well, you're getting defensive." Sayuri said and sighed right after. "But seriously, you have a nice job and are pretty, any guy would kill to be with you."

My parents hummed affirming what Sayuri said. "Our (Y/N) will be here for about a month, so please treat her nicely." My father said and my mom who patted my head. I smiled and tried swatting her hand away since I'm not a child anymore.

Mother Tsuji looked at her husband and looked back at me. "Actually, my dear. I know you probably don't babysit anymore but we have a job for you." Souichi's mother tiredly says with a small smile on her face.

Souichi keeps eyeing us from the corner of the room, he's standing right beside the door now smoking a cigarette. His almost black eyes looking at me which was making me feel nervous.

"Do I have to babysit your son again?" I scoff and bit the inside of my cheek to try and not laugh.

Everyone looked at each other concerned, I'd say they were the only ones who knew of my crush on Souichi back in the day. "No, my dear. You see our son Souichi has a son."

I spit out my tea once Father Tsuji said those very words. I started coughing and tried calming down, "Are you okay?" His wife asked me. I nodded a couple of times.

"H-How? He has a son? A real son, not a voodoo doll?" I asked genuinely curious and hoped it wasn't true. His mother shook her head and sighed, "I'm afraid not."

Huh? I looked over at Souichi and felt a chill down my spine when I saw him still intently looking at me, wanting to know what I'd say. "Who's the mother?" I said after looking away.

"She's not in the picture at the moment." His father answered.

"So you want me to babysit his son?" I questioned. They all nodded except Sayuri and Koichi.

"(Y/N), can we speak outside?" Both siblings asked me. I nodded my head and followed both brother and sister outside of the house.

I looked at them both and saw them share a concern look on their faces. "We should warn you about our brothers son. He's not like most kids. Normal should I say." Koichi nervously told me.

"Does he have special needs?" Again they both shared concerned looks.

"It's hard to say.."

Something about their behavior worried me, weird things did indeed happen here in the past and most things around in Tokyo. A group of teenagers claimed to have seen a beautiful man who told them their future...weird shaped figures on mountains...and other terrifying things I once used to believe..or still do a bit.

"Well I think-" I tensed up when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. It was Souichi. "So what do you say, (Y/N)." Souichi smiled wide and I saw he had a single nail in his mouth.

"You were always good with kids." I made it out of his embrace and now stood between his brothers. He is messing with me, he hasn't forgiven me for the many times I bullied him.

I tried to keep my distance from him, "I-I wouldn't say I'm the best at it." I tried saying. I was about to ask his brother and sister to help me for unfortunately my mother called them from inside the house.

I was now alone with Souichi. I felt my palms getting sweaty and my knees getting weak. Back then, I wasn't afraid of him but now I am.

"Y-You do know I apologize for the things I did back then. We were just kids messing with each other."

Souichi stares at me with dead eyes, "You pulled my pants down in front of everyone in gym class."

They weren't missing on much anyways. I try to not laugh at the memory and remained calm. I bowed my head and apologized again. "I had problems with myself so I took them on those I thought weaker than me. I truly am sorry, Souichi."

I felt a hand on my head and slowly stood back up and stared up at him. I guess he accepted my apology. "I'm just, still surprised you out of all of us have a kid already. I certainly never took you to be a father..H-How old is your son?"

"About eight."

My brain had to process that for a second. "Eight years old? But you're just twenty seven year old. We share the same age." I was having trouble comprehending him.

Souichi lit up another cigarette and he certainly looked tired but smirked nonetheless. "Are you jealous or something? Hmm in a way you confirmed you're a virgin."

"A-Am not!"

Souichi frowned and tossed his cigarette to the ground and stepper on it slowly getting closer to me. "How would you like to meet my son right now? He adores getting visits."

Souichi placed his hand behind my back and began guiding me behind his parents home. "We live just behind my parents home, so babysitting will be easier."

I said nothing, I glanced up at him and saw him smiling almost wickedly and chuckling to himself like he did back then. "He's just behind the door, do be careful he is eating right now, though he doesn't bite too hard."

Gently he started pushing me forward to the door to his small home. I knew I should've turned back, but didnt.

Slowly I made it inside and saw that it was pitch black. Quietly I stepped in further until I was in the kitchen and saw a some sort of cage, does Souichi have a dog? Just when I was getting closer I let out a chilling scream and started running back to the front door.

I ran past Souichi still screaming and heard him chuckling behind me. I made it back inside his parents home and everyone saw the look on my face, his brother wasn't happy at all when I saw him going outside to scold his brother

"Souichi! You have a weird way of showing your affection to her!!"

I certainly am not ready to babysit that weird monster I saw inside the small home. This is some sort of revenge for what I did to Souichi, I know it.

I heard footsteps and stared back at Souichi afraid and saw him clap his hands together and smile wide. "Congratulations, my dear (Y/N). Your job starts tomorrow."

Synopsis In 1972, Misaki, a popular student of Yomiyama North Middle School’s class 3-3, suddenly died partway through the school year. Since then, the town of Yomiyama has been shrouded by a fearful atmosphere, from the dark secrets hidden deep within.

In 1998, Kouichi Sakakibara, a 15-year-old student transfers into class 3-3 of Yomiyama North Middle School and soon after discovers that a strange, gloomy mood seems to hang over all the students.

He also finds himself drawn to Mei Misaki, a mysterious and eyepatch-wearing student whom classmates and teacher seemingly ignore her. Paying no heed to warnings from everyone including Mei herself, Kouichi begins to get closer not only to her, but also to the truth behind the gruesome phenomenon plaguing class 3-3 of Yomiyama North Middle School.

This anime follows Kouichi, Mei and their classmates as they are pulled into the enigma surrounding a series of inevitable and tragic events, but unraveling the horror of Yomiyama may just cost them the ultimate price.

Family Reunions Part 2- Souichi Tsujii x Reader

Summary: Souichi has some explaining to do to you when you find out he already has a son and never told you about it. How will you take it since you've both been married for years now.

"Souichi!!" I angrily shouted and barged out of the house. "Answer me when I'm talking to you!...Get your ass back in here!" I continue to walk outside and try not to trip from the many dead tree branches and leaves on the ground.

"Maybe we shouldn't have said it." I could hear Sayuri said when she thought I wouldn't freak out at the news her older brother Koichi has told me when I kept pushing him to tell me, he told me to not burst out in anger and clearly that didn't work.

I stopped walking and looked at the cemetery around me, it began to lightly rain but that wasn't stopping me from getting some answers out of my husband.

What was his grandmother's name? I huff out annoyed and tried to walk through the now muddy ground.

"(Y/N)! We're sorry please get back in! You'll get cold as do will the baby!" I heard Koichi shout back from his house.I ignored him and continue walking forward.

"Souichi!" I stopped and noticed him hiding behind his grandmother's headstone. Thinking I had gotten away he peeked his head and shrieked when he noticed my glare.

He looked like a mess, even his hair was all over the place sticking to his forehead due to the bow heavy rain. I've always been scared of thunder but right now my concern was on Souichi.

Starting to get even angrier I stomped over to where he was and lifted him up from the back of his coat. "Care to explain to me what you've been hiding?!"

Souichi's always bored and laid-back personality was changed completely to a scared one. "I don't know what you mean s-sweety!"

Even though he's a lot taller than me he's still scared of my angry look. "Don't play stupid with me!" I raised my hand up and slapped him hard.

Souichi didn't even seen to mind me doing so and kept trying to run away from my tight grip on him. My hand held onto his coat tightly and the other began to hit his back.

"You already have a son and never bothered to tell me?!" I was beyond hurt at the sudden news I got. I thought we were starting and being new to all of this, now he has a son with someone I don't know.

"I thought you loved me you i-idiot!" I let go of him and tears finally began to fall down on my face like a waterfall. It felt like our two year marriage meant nothing.

"You've been keeping this horrible secret from me." I opened my eyes and could see Souichi's silhouette trying to run away when I let him go. I hid my face and continued to cry.

Now what will I do? Should I even stay with him for lying to me, this isn't something to take so lightly. The rain wasn't going anywhere and if I weren't pregnant I would've run away.

If I do I'll have to live on my own, work somehow and be a single mother.

Something heavy was placed on my shoulders, I touched the fabric and knew it was his coat. "Come on, I'm sorry, okay?!" It was rare to heard Souichi say those words.

I huffed still looking away when he tried to touch me. "I didn't want you to find out. I knew it would hurt you, come on stop crying."

"Let go of me!" I tried pushing him away when Souichi wrapped his arms around me tight. He sighed and he placed one hand behind my head and rested his on top of mine.

"I was around seventeen when Binzo was born. I met someone and that woman took advantage of me, let's say it wasn't a pleasant memory... She's a dangerous woman and that's why I've been moving from place to place so she won't find me, us."

I remained silent and listened to his words. "I'm not too fond of the boy myself, but I took him with me so that woman won't hurt us."

I didn't know..Is that why Souichi gets scared when I get very angry and take my anger out on him. It reminds me of the woman who took advantage of him when he was still young.

"You mean a lot to me, (Y/N). I don't want to lose the only person who's stayed and cared for me. Let's move away! We can start new and that horrid woman won't find us."

I frowned and pulled away from his hug. "I can't forgive you for lying to me for all of these years. I'll have to think about, Souichi."

Souichi frowned and slowly nodded his head. "Okay.. let's head inside before my mother freaks out even more."

We both began to walk back into the house and was greeted by his mom and sister holding warm blankets for us and has prepared some tea.

"Next time you say something without my permission I'll put another curse on you." I heard Souichi warn his brother.

"Thank you for helping me out, Sayuri."

"Anything for my sister in law. How's things going with my brother? He hasn't been bothering you has he?" She asks ready to beat him if I say yes.

I shake my head and placed the last remaining items out of the box. Souichi and I moved to a new place closer to his family but still hidden so his ex won't find him.

"He hasn't. Our relationship is still rocky but I don't have anything to complain, but I will say he's continue being all gloomy."

Ever since he told me what he did over at his parents home. I haven't been talking to him much lately, this led to him being all gloomy, sad and he spent most of his time at the haunted house he continued to our out to terrorize and make some money.

Sayuri scoffs and goes over to pour us some fresh tea. "Leave him be, he deserves it for lying to you. I don't know how you put up with the creep."

I remain quiet and sipped my tea. "Everyone in school never took his seriously, we didn't either and neither did you. But like it or not you're all he's got, just try to be happy with him, okay? I knew this whole thing changed your whole relationship but I don't want you both to get a divorce. It won't be good for, Ame."

We both turn to look at the crib that's next to the couch and see Ame is still asleep. Ame was born on a rainy morning, that's why I decided on that name. Today Ame is five months old.

Sayuri places her cup of tea down and walks over to the crib to take another look at Ame and many stuffed animals her cousin Mishina sent. "I will say she's a little odd."

That was her way if saying creepy. Ame, my daughter resembles Souichi way too much. She has the same almost white skin as him and pitch black hair and eyes, though her eyes does hold warmth to them unlike Souichi's who's filled with mischief.

I can't help but chuckle at her words. "You know when we were doing some groceries an old man spotted Ame and nearly freaked out. Want to know what he said? 'Well that's unfortunate' is what he said. Souichi nearly ripped the old man's head off."

Even if our relationship is rocky, it was nice seeing Souichi all defensive to his new born daughter.

"Never thought he'd be like that towards anyone really, the closest he ever cared to anyone was Grandma, she said this silly story of him having a twin but I don't remember much. Everything changed when he met you and now with Some he has more people to care about."

We both jumped when Ame began to cry. "Don't worry rest up, I'll-"

"I'll take it from here." Souichi ran from where he was in his room and went to carry Ame in his arms. I smiled at them both and promised myself to become a better person for him.

"Hey! I wanted to carry her." Sayuri tried telling her younger brother.

"Well I'm her father so you can wait." He held Ame tight and the young girl instantly stopped crying and began playing with Souichi's bowtie.

"Maybe she wants some milk? I'll warm some up for her." Sayuri left to the kitchen and I walked over and planted a kiss on Souichi's cheek.

"You're a good father, Souichi." The tall man stared at me back in shock and his pale cheeks turned bright red.

"O-Of course I am!" He exclaimed proud of himself.

The doorbell rang and Souichi and I stared at each other. "That must be, Koichi! He said he was bringing some lunch over."

I walked over and opened the door. "Koichi..Oh, Hello!" I nervously smiled when it wasn't Koichi who stood before me. It was a tall woman with an expressionless face. She's kinda creepy.

"Is there something I can help you with?" I asked trying to be kind to this total stranger.

I glanced back and saw Sayuri staring shocked at us and the bottle she had had fallen on the floor. What is happening? I stared at them both and noticed Souichi was no longer in the room.
