The bender of blood vs. an animated corpse of wood with motives beyond it's master...
This is fanart for Save Data's stream of Apollo Justice! The only diff between the two is the comic panel style of the 2nd image. I binged their Ace Attorney trilogy stream last winter and was super excited to be able to see their streams in person this time around :>
since i was finally able to show this to @savedatateam, i decided to post it here too! if you haven’t checked them out, their ace attorney with an actual lawyer videos are so funny and they’re so underrated
for those who haven’t watched their LP yet, this refers to the joke that phoenix can’t remember the name of the channeling room and keeps asking lol
Ai the Somnium Files was a heckin trip and a half. I was inspired by the end of it to go full ham and make 8 separate fanarts of Boss, Saito, and Date, learn a new whole ass technique to make glitch effects, and cry while I went insane trying to make a gif :,D
BUT I PERSISTED FOR MY FAV CHARACTERS AND THE SAVE DATA BOIS
(and then they finished the game early while I was in the middle of making it and had no idea soooooooo... It's here for the nirvanA Initiative playthrough a long time after being finished baybee)
(Lol, this has been rotting in my drafts since the end of Somnium Files 🤣)
I am once again asking people to consider the Ace Attorney playthrough by Save Data Team
Featuring: an actual lawyer, a group of 3 friends who genuinely like the game/story and at least one is playing blind, so many running jokes, my new headcanon Miles Edgeworth voice, unhinged questions from Ohio's bar exams, genuine interest in the context of the original Japanese version, increasingly absurd stream funding goals, canon Narumitsu, and much more
youtube
it starts off like a standard "that's not how law works!" series but do not be fooled. It's very good
Here's a fun highlight reel comp, or, this one from Case 5/Rise From the Ashes to see the gang in full swing of things
For folks who are wondering why I've gone absolutely stupid for Ace Attorney, it's the fault of the streamers above, who have done multiple AA playthroughs and professionally voice acted the whole thing. @savedatateam , you are kings.
I swear to God, Wes’s Edgeworth is the perfect Edgeworth. <3 <3
And one of them (Prij) is a lawyer, so you also get legal deconstruction of how bullshit everything is all the time.
Highly recommend the above if you like Ace Attorney. The link above goes directly to their AA playlists.
There has been a sudden influx of people reblogging the old post of this (i shant dare link it) and seeing it in my notes over and over has finally kicked my rear in gear to do a redraw of it.
but anyway, still big fan of ace attorney with an actual lawyer by save data, go watch if you've the chance
