Saturday Worship, is a sound art piece which is based in Worcester Cathedrals Chapter House. It involves two 1 minute mixes of Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepherd, sung both by the Worcester Cathedral boys choir and by West Bromwich Albion football fans. The contradiction between these two sounds create a mirror the world we live in. The fact that we actually live in a secular country even if all our laws are based on the 10 Commandments.

Lucy Tomlin’s work was an inspiration I needed to use rooms built with different acoustics. As she based Saturday Worship in the cathedral, I went and experimented with the space and how sound is altered in there.
