Something I really hope for in The Cage is for Sammy and Susie to interact. They could(and do) have such an interesting dynamic but the writers do nothing with it. Like they were canonically lovers at one point, broke up, died and became a cultist and an angel. DUDE THATS SO FUCKING COOL WHY DONT YOU UTILIZE IT

We already get the idea that they generally avoid each other which is really interesting. Like in chapters 3 and 4(Alices chapters) of Ink Machine there’s some hint of Sammy being there without HIM actually being there. In CH3 its his secret dialogue and CH4 his mask behind the bloated searcher pipe. I love these details so much and I wish we got them in BATDR

I wonder if Susie knows he’s there cause like. The Sammy comment seems like something she wouldn’t make to Henry randomly? I don’t understand why’d she tell this random guy about her ex boyfriend and why he’s a liar but still “a very handsome man” like maybe she knows he’s listening. i kinda headcanon that she knows hes there now that im writing this lol. Maybe shes trying to taunt him that seems like a Susie thing to do
