30 DAYS WITH KEELEY HAWES
28. Most Underrated Character
Sam doesn’t get even half of the attention she deserves. Some of the scenes in the last episode with her mother in law are some of my favorites. Keels nailed it! Samantha Mollison has a special place in my heart. Come at me. I dare you.

An icon. A legend. An inspiration. An artist true to her craft but most importantly herself. For years she conquers the small screen and has played a huge variety of roles, every single one with immense care.
It can be an MI5 agent. It can be a DI shot and sent to the past. It can be a high class aristocrat in the 40s. It can be a fearful director that clones herself. It can be a posh lady in the suburbs suffering from alcoholism and her family’s disdain. It can be a police woman dedicated to her work till the very end. It can be a mother that fights without losing hope. It can be a lovely survivor that takes her family to a foreign land. It can be the Home Secretary. It can be an actress betrayed. It can be a traitor.
But it will always be the magnificent Keeley Hawes behind them all.

So I have been rewatching dramas that Keeley Hawes has been in and firstly she is so talented as her characters are so different! Secondly, in the Durrells she is so tender towards the kids and I can imagine this is how she is in real life! Finally keeping with the Durrells, every single series ends with Louisa looking proudly at her kids and reflecting on what has happened and that makes me emotional! Going to miss the Durrells

We head to the seaside with Brighton’s Josie Millard for an intimate look inside the growing female skater scene. With filmmaker Ophelia Wynne we step into the 17-year-old Brightonian’s world as she recounts her journey from stealing her brother’s unused skateboard from the garage, to falling in love with the subculture, breaking into schools after dark to skate, and hitting the streets in search of adventure.
