Uninterested in ballroom galas, Parasoul could want to see what’s below this castle. Normally she’d do it by herself because she’s really bored that talking to those people to socialize just makes her irritated but that’s because of the mask’s influence that made her the opposite side of her noble personality.

She was pretending to be unaware of her surroundings but she knew she was followed after reaching the entrance leading down below the cellar of this place.

“I know you’re following me, so get your stupid existence out or i will have to drag your hair and beat you down HORRIBLY!” This isn’t what salty looked like, she looked violent that fused with saltiness inside.

•her face is littered with freckles

•during her time as a slave, she has picked up on many languages and can speak them fluently

•she can play any instrument if she wants to

•pretty sure the medicis used her to dance around and play for money

Parasoul Headcanons

A couple of these are repeats from an older post I can’t find, but they’re here anyway.

She has a tendency to feel faint, which she inherited from her mother. It’s a very well-kept secret that only her family knows about.

She wears reading glasses.

Her mother taught her how to bake pie when she was younger, and she still does so when she or Umbrella are feeling stressed.

On the rare occasion she uses perfume, she wears a touch of men’s cologne instead because she doesn’t like the sweeter fragrances of women’s perfume.

The royal family is aware of Annie’s true identity as an immortal Skullgirl fighter, and Parasoul started watching Annie of the Stars as a child because she aspires to be like her.

She’s ambidextrous, but typically uses her left as the dominant hand.

She and Umbrella get along very well with Squigly, and feel an odd kinship due to their mothers being Skullgirls.

She also gets along surprisingly well with Peacock, despite having to pay for her property damage. Besides the aforementioned Skullgirl kinship, Peacock’s antics are a breath of fresh air in the monotonous military routine and make Parasoul feel like she’s experiencing an amount of child-like whimsy she never really had growing up.

She has no interest in non-platonic relationships. If she feels attraction, she would probably never act on it.

She can hold her liquor remarkably well, but when she hits a certain point her personality shifts. This nightmare is known as “Salty Parasoul“.

Little Skullgirls Things That Are Very Good

Tutorials explaining the fundamentals of fighting games and how to actually play them instead of skipping ahead to special moves and combos

There’s theming fucking everywhere

The animation in-betweens

Parasite and host relationships

Parasoul’s alternate color palettes with glasses

When Zane reveals himself as Double and takes off his sunglasses, and Double emerges wearing a different pair of identical sunglasses

Beowulf having no clue what’s going on in the main plot

You keep thinking you know who the worst person is but they keep one-upping each other

The character’s special lines and nicknames for each other (my personal favorite being the disgusted noise Peacock makes when she tags out w/ Double)

Lab 0 makes the ASG labs seem like this mysterious series of secret testing grounds where abominations and killing machines are created and then you get Lab 8 and it’s just a big adopted family of dorky cyborgs

Fukua was an April Fools joke character that was a riff on “clone” characters in fighting games, but everyone liked her so much that the devs put her in the game permanently

Robo Fortune’s story mode is nothing but absurd self-indulgent meme-y meta humor

If you win with an assist both of your characters do their win poses

Mrs. Victoria’s proud smile when you win in the Class Notes stage

Andy Anvil giving you encouragement when selecting challenge stages

The whole deal about salty Umbrella when she is coincidentally based on the Morton Salt girl

Painwheel’s smile

Samson’s “ALLEY-OOP“

Double’s blockbuster when she rapidly attacks as different characters including ones who were never put in the game

Liam O’ Brien’s Leviathan voice

Tbh all the voice actors, including when they got together to get drunk and play the game
