Drumroll please~~~

Badum badum badum badum badum badum tisssss!!!

I made myself my own notebook last night! It was a very stressful experience because I didn’t look up any tutorials and I just did it on impulse,,,, BUT it turned out pretty cute!

I was able to include Zephyr,and both of my past lives, and some of Zephyr’s other forms into the decorating and I think it looks beautiful. The colours on the string have meanings as well. I’m very proud of myself!! It turned out way better than expected

I wouldn’t have made it if my love wasn’t breathing down my neck about arts and crafts date night, but I’m glad he whined about it. I really like it, I think it’s decent for going into it blind!

I’m going to use it for spiritual stuff. The signs I see in my day to day life, communicating with Zephyr, my meditations, symbolism, my past lives, etc. It’s for Zephyr and I only, and I hope it turns out okay.

Just think of how proud you’ll be when it’s filled! You’ll have excellent notes and beautiful pictures to look back on!

They’re right, I’ll treasure this book for years. I hope you guys have had time to do something for yourselves too! Doing something crafty is always a good self care idea. It doesn’t have to be perfect, the process and how much fun is what matters :)

If ur alterhuman and ur worried that going on medication will make you 'less' of an alterhuman... I can tell u that's not been my experience with it at all.

Being on mood stablizers has been a TREMENDOUS help to both my human side and my sable side.

On the human side: I don't get manic or depressed anymore. I can exist as a person happily and safely. I don't have to worry about 'going crazy' or having hallucinations. I can just be.

On the sable side: Being on mood stabilizers genuinely calmed my prey animal anxiety SO FUCKING MUCH. It went from 'I need to be alert all the time because otherwise I will be eaten by something' to 'anything that eats sables don't live here. I'm safe.' It ALSO helped me learn to control and manage mental shifts. I shift often and it's overwhelming sometimes so to have the brain chemicals I need to be able to shut them down on command is honestly excellent.

Obviously people have bad experiences on mental health medication. I know that. I just wanted to share my personal anecdotes because I've had such a GOOD time on them and I think it's important to share many perspectives on medications and alterhumanity.
