To preface, I am not a writer or comic artist, this is really my first attempt at making a comic, so this is all very much a learning experience for me.
With that said, I do plan on just adding pages to this until it feels right so I don't know what the planned page count is as I'm still writing the rest. But I felt like it'd be a good proof of concept and a test of what I'm capable of outside of super big fancy illustrations. PLEASE provide any and all feedback in terms of the writing or paneling/text/colors/whatever. I would gladly work with any experienced writers or comic artists willing to donate some free time.
As for the comic itself, my plan for this is basically to make an as-close-to-canon look at the start of Charlie and Vaggie's relationship. Here, we find Vaggie waking up in a strange place after being picked up from the alley she was left in. Who or why would someone do this!? You know who, and you know why.
I'm going to try and make a new page once a week, maybe more if I'm feeling particularly un-lazy, or less if I'm in fact a horrible horrible creature. Hopefully now that I've done one page, the rest will get easier as I go on. Enjoy!

Who could that be, hmmmm? I dunno what else to write here other than enjoy some more Vaggie angst, and one page a week does make it seem like I'm tying down the process each page which looks cool :P Wonder how these will look by like page 10 or 20.
Oh, I'm back on twitter/x if anyone is interested @sabbothart . I haven't posted this comic there yet but I'll probably stagger them out soon. My plan is they come to tumblr first but I do post other art and things there too!

Charlie is coming soon, don't worry!
I also wanted to use this comic to try and patch up some plot curiosities like "How did Charlie not realize sooner that Vaggie was an Angel?" and "How did she hide her wings, were there not scars?" so at least in my mind, angel wings are completely hidden when retracted! And future dialogue I have planned will hopefully portray Charlie as having a plausible reason to assume she's a sinner at first.

Comic Ideas
I'm working on the next 2-3 pages of the Chaggie comic and I'm trying to gauge how many feels I should shove into this, lol. I want to display some of the feelings Vaggie has regarding her choices, her past, consequences, and opinion of herself, but that seems like a lot for the first day of her and Charlie getting to know each other. I'll probably save some of that for a future story. :B

Comic Update
I'm working on Page 5 of the Chaggie comic but I was a horrid creature and didn't get as much work as I wanted done these past few days because I kept falling asleep! I normally work on art late at night cause my work shift is 10am - 7pm. Still hoping to get page 5 out for Monday! Here's a couple little Charlies.
Also I noticed that if someone reblogs a page, it doesn't reflect changes I make afterwards, so I'm wondering if anyone saw an old reblog and didn't know there was a new page? Is there preferred method to post comics here on tumblr or is there a better website I should be hosting this on? Let me know!
