okay so here’s something embarrassing that happened that I can’t get out of my mind since I’ve seen people share some stories from a while ago
one time in school I was trying to get someone who I liked (I mean, after that I found out I didn’t really like them, but it’s a bit complicated) so I kissed them on the hand THERE WERE CCTVS IN MY SCHOOL KEEP IN MY MIND THAT THIS WAS WHEN I WAS LIKE IN OUR EQUIVALENT OF LIKE 7th-8th GRADE .

but I’m hotter (I’m not, I have received no romantic attention my whole life save for that one time someone did and then told me that they didn’t like me anymore when I wanted to tell them that I didn’t reciprocate and all of these jokes about me wanting to be a player or a hot person are just thoughts from wishful thinking and I feel like the fact that I want attention and have rarely gotten it was a catalyst for me to stop letting myself have my own dignity or pride or self-respect or self-esteem in general by doing things like “whoring” myself out even in the way I dress or trying to be a party animal and I don’t like this but I have to do it to be able to achieve a self that I will at least be okay with bringing out into the world and feel would at least get people to just pay some attention to me)

The area surrounding Tenshukaku crackled and bellowed with lightning and thunder while the serene sakura blossoms and maple foliage glided behind him as if they were blissfully ignorant of the scene they were currently present in.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” kazuha cried, repeating his utterances like a broken record as gently caressed his dear friend’s lifeless head, his severed blade and fallen shell of a vision right next to kazuha. His tears trickled down his chin while he held his tomo’s head closer to his. “If only I was faster,” he croaked out once more.
If only, if only.
No expression seemed to be on tomo’s face. No joy or laughter, no anger or resentment. What had he thought about as the lightning tore through him? What did he feel as the thunder gnawed at his ears? What did he last hear with ears that yearned to bleed? What did he last see with eyes that longed to be shut?
Kazuha would never know.
Tirelessly, he carried tomo’s body- no, corpse- to an area near the kamisato estate, the abode of the family that his ancestors used to serve. Too many battles had been fought by then though kazuha felt like the true storm had never even touched him yet.
Another Tenryou Commission soldier creeping up his shoulder, and then nothing. And then the next. And the next.
When he stumbled upon a piece of land that seemed fit for what was about to ensue, he dug a hole just about tomo’s size in height and weight. Tomo had achieved his ambition now, and he had to begin to try to accept that.
He laid his friend’s corpse in the hole. “I apologise for the lack of the coffin, but please rest. You need it,” kazuha spoke softly.
The corpse returned no reply.
Once kazuha was done, he placed nearby rocks on where tomo’s head might have been.
Alas, after kazuha prevented the separation of the broken blade and its master, he still felt as if tomo could be honoured.
At least a little more.
“Farewell, my friend,” kazuha smiled, his grin bittersweet, the empty, colourless vision next to kazuha’s anemo one. “Farewell.”
He would live on, kazuha thought. He would live on in joyful moments with friends, in sorrowful times of loss and in bittersweet happenings like these.
Maybe then, this could be the only thing he would have wanted tomo to live on and be celebrated in.
The visions over his shoulder resumed to dangle as he turned his back on his friend.
