need help naming an upcoming comic i’ll be working on (slowly but surely) so i’m doing a poll to see what people like better!
the comic is vox machina set in the avatar universe, hundreds of years after aang and korra and following keyleth as the avatar with VM as her team avatar. the aesthetic itself takes heavily after the steampunk of korra's time, as opposed to a more modern interpretation.

in between AH officially ending last year and rooster teeth shutting down, this is truly the end of an era of my life

percy headcanon dump!
so tbh, i write percy in a modified version of canon i created with my gf, so a lot of these headcanons will have a more perc'ildan focus simply bc in that version of "our canon" the twins have swapped partners (so perc'ildan and vexleth basically)
a lot of these are also self-projection
he & keyleth are bffs and yes, while that's canon, their bond just goes so much deeper, being the two younger members of vox machina who are also autistic. the two of them share a single brain cell, and they have a terrible habit of losing it.
percy's bi awakening wasn't with vax specifically, but rather a lot of men around the same time! his first kiss/sexual encounter with a man was actually gilmore, who helped him gradually accept that maybe he likes men and women after all
after the influence of orthax, percy was left with black-smoke like markings on his body as scars. they go up his arms, across his shoulders and upper back, up his neck into his hairline. whenever he feels intense anger, jealousy, or possessiveness, the markings will produce a faint roll of smoke. the stronger the emotion, the stronger the smoke grows in both intensity and color.
he also suffers like. major lung damage because inhaling demonic-smoke, even with the help of the mask, is actually really bad for you! (said lung damage contributes to an early death for him)
his love language is acts of service, which manifests into him making the people he cares for gifts with his own hands. whether it's learning how to craft a lute from scratch for scanlan to taking the bead vax gives him as a show of his love and turning it into an engagement ring.
he tinkers on more than just guns and weapons. that gunsmith knowledge gets applied to a lot more things.
he's hypersexual as fuck. super high sex drive, needs sex like. once a day. before he and vax got together, they were stuck sharing a bed and percy needed to get off. it wasn't until they got together that vax revealed he had been awake the entire time
when percy is about to have a panic attack or meltdown, everyone just gets vax. he's his comfort item. (when vax dies, percy spends the first few panic attacks without him just kind of lost and in a daze.)
he loves his friends and family so much, to the point he tells vax he has no love left for himself (percy deals with huge issues with loving himself for a while). vax says it's okay and that he'll love percy enough for the both of them (and that's when percy knew he wanted to marry vax before it was too late)
vax does die as percy's husband! percy also titles both vax and vex when they meet syldor. that's when the rest of vox machina, save for vex, learned percy and vax were engaged.
