maybe one day I'll finish my scrapped idea from last year's secsam (lyke as the protagonist in a gothic romance (?) novel ft. a kind of rewrite of the roseroot hall arc with aterika'kaal as a vampire. it made sense for the prompts i got. & it was a shitty gas station paperback which was my excuse for not knowing the genre very well and i came up with ideas for other novels in the series too...) and share that because I was extremely into it for 5 days straight to the point it stressed me out. so I didn't end up doing that but I still think it's pretty cool.

new sangtober and sangfiyarn update!
i've knitted more since this photo, up to a total of four inches long, it was just after the sun went down so i can't get a photo. i think i might've already spun enough yarn to be able to finish this, but ive only spun about half of my prepped fiber so i'll have to figure out what to do with the rest. it definitely needs spun asap because i need the laundry basket it lives in back. im literally so excited about how this is turning out, it's exactly what i was going for. i keep just stopping and staring at it and petting it. it's gonna be so nice to have this on my head all winter. i got to try out some knitting without looking during today's food not bombs meeting, which was fun. once i got to three other people in the conversation i couldn't do it anymore, which is interesting
in sangtober news i didn't listen much today, i was busy all day. between working and driving places and having a meeting about food not bombs i managed to finish up episode 12 and start 13. I'm gonna try to finish 13 before i go to sleep so that i stop being halfway through episodes when i sleep. the conclusion of roseroot hall was great, again i really adore seeing things get established that have big impacts on the whole season. i had forgotten just how... awkward? the conversation before they give dyre ode his skull back was. it made me so anxious to listen to

Finding herbal stimulants that are practical to obtain in Finland in case of an emergency turned out to be a challenge. Like yes, caffeine is great, especially if I'll ever learn the balance that actually works for me instead of basically sending me into torpor, but if when there is medicine shortage or I can't get my prescription for other reasons, I would like to have a backup plan that doesn't involve shipping beans from the other side of the planet 😐
Edit. Found roseroot! I'll try at some point if it helps me at all or if it has any adverse effects.
#I have chronic distrust on the stability of status quo#so I'm constantly making backup plans#getting ADHD meds was just another thing to have backup plan for#(also in a big big emergency coffee would probably be eventually harder to obtain than conserta)#(bc Finns are weird about coffee)#also I like these kinds of brain teasers#'If scenario X happened‚ what I would do regarding Y?'#or in this case 'If the medicine supply was disrupted for a significant amount of time#how could I manage ADHD without buying imported products like coffee or tea?'
