Poor Devil - Teaser Trailer
a deleted scene, i think. the only known remnants of this are these screengrabs from the teaser on YouTube. went through all the episodes and didn't see it anywhere?? based on stan's charred body, I assume it was from episode 4. Very unfortunate if it is deleted.
If I missed it and someone can let me know where the full scene is in the show, i'd greatly appreciate it!

"Get me, I'm a super-cat!"
It would be fair to say that dogs predominate in the ranks of heroic and super-heroic animals, but cats aren't wholly unrepresented. Consider, for example, Supergirl's cat Streaky, first seen in ACTION COMICS #261 (February 1960). Streaky was originally an ordinary stray cat Supergirl adopted in her guise of Linda Lee, but watch out:

Now, if you have a cat, have ever had a cat, or have ever met a cat, you might think that this could go very badly indeed, but while Streaky is mischievous, he does have a good heart:
Tumblr media
Still, it's perhaps fortunate that Streaky's powers prove to only be temporary (and even more fortunate that Supergirl is around to rescue him when his powers fade while he's flying high above the Earth). However, the X-Kryptonite meteor is still out there...
Tumblr media
Of course, Streaky did become super again, eventually joining the Legion of Super-Pets along with Krypto the Super-Dog. I have to say candidly, though, that the idea of a cat with heat vision should chill the soul. (If your cat had laser eyes, would they use that power for good? I think not.)
On the orphanage business: In the Silver Age, Superman's cousin, Kara Zor-El, arrived on Earth when she was 14 or 15, having been born in Argo City after the destruction of Krypton. While her parents sent her to find her cousin, presumably assuming he would take her in, Superman refused to adopt Kara, instead forcing her to enter an orphanage (!) under the name Linda Lee and keep her heroic exploits as Supergirl a secret. She was subsequently adopted — no thanks to Superman — by Fred and Edna Danvers, and later learned that her Kryptonian parents were still alive, having survived the destruction of Argo City. Kara decided to remain with the Danvers, while Zor-El and Alura, uncomfortable with trying to assimilate into human culture, settled in the Bottle City of Kandor and later on the planet Rokyn, where Kandor was enlarged in the late '70s.

Born to the high Yanave family of the Hazik Tribe, Arizyn had always enjoyed a life of luxury. His family had always been wary of the child for his 'strange' tendencies. Instead of studying the arts and mastering a craft like the other city children, Arizyn had always opted to study something darker. He had always been fascinated by the concept of life and death, but it still came as a devastating shock to her parents when she experimented her curiosities on small animals. Upon seeing his parents' reactions, he did his best to act 'normal,' but he never truly felt as though she belonged, forcing herself to still her interests to be accepted.
It was worse when Arizyn revealed her magical affinity for life and death. Shunned from the tribe by his family and peers, she settled in Rokyn, the capital city of Nihaga. After a year of hardship, Arizyn manages to enroll himself into the most prestigious school in the kingdom, where he's free to study what he wishes. For once, Arizyn is surrounded by support, and he can't help but think that things are finally looking up.
It didn't take long for Arizyn's professors to interpret that his research was the opposite of good. He was ridiculed and belittled out of fear by his peers and mentors. The ones he let grow close to him shut him out, sneering at his works and treating him as less than human. Arizyn quickly realized what happened, but couldn't help but feel wronged for being treated as he was when he never did anything bad.
Once more turned away from what he once considered his home, she crosses the border to Arkya. For the first time since she'd left home, something bitter grows within him, twisting and turning dark beyond measure.
Now residing in the forgotten depths beneath the Military Academy, Arizyn waits for the day he can enact his revenge on the ones who antagonized him for what was once simply a curiosity.

"Nuevos actores te permiten llegar a nichos mundiales.
