Meet Amena Begum, a 51-year-old Rohingya refugee who fled her homeland in Myanmar on 25 August 2017. Her journey has been fraught with pain and separation from her loved ones. Amena's husband is disabled and they have two sons, who were forced to separate from them due to their advanced age and disabilities. Recalling the heart-wrenching moment of separation, Amena shares, "It's very hard to say that our sons left us." Before fleeing Myanmar, Amena hardly left her home. But now, as a refugee living in the cramped and congested camps in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, she has no choice but to work as a daily wage labourer for an NGO. The cost of her husband's medication is a constant worry for her and she works tirelessly to make ends meet for her family. For Amena and countless others like her, life as a Rohingya refugee is an ongoing struggle, with limited access to basic amenities and a constant threat of violence and persecution. Yet, despite the hardships, Amena and her fellow refugees strive to rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience, holding on to the hope of a better future. #photoaddict #photooftheday #photographychallenge #photo #photographs #photographylovers #BlackAndWhitePhotography #Rohingya_Life #rohingyacamps #portraitphotography (at Rohingya Refugee Camp) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp22xGihGPf/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
