Remember those bts photos with Betty, Veronica and Cheryl? Probably Archie will have another crisis and he will fantasize this orgy for himself.

Since no one is mentioning it, the fact Riverdale episode 100 confirmed a very major fan theory and it being ignored is hilarious ( The fan theory in question of course is Jughead is the writer of all of Riverdale episodes)

I just wanted to say I love your blog so much!!! all you're posts about b*rchie and etc make me feel a lot better than I did last night lol I just think something's definitely up because at the last minute jughead goes from being all about Betty to Tabitha?? When he himself said he didn't want to start something with her now all of a sudden he does?? And I can't think of one good solid reason for b*rchie after 5x08 so I hope it's because of Cheryl and the au because just nope!!!!

secondly, it was so bad, right? they had every opportunity to set up these ships from the very start of the time jump in a believable way (uhm, okay, well, some of the pairings needed a chemistry test because it's preferential to the individual sure but totally subjective? less so) but they chose a certain tack in 5a then spent most of 5b following with what happened in 5a before doing a 180 that, in the end, no one is going to like.

the b/as, god love them, always think they've won until they lose. they think they're playing a long game but they've always been a timeout. and when, again, they don't get the outcome they wanted...oh well.

they did say that what happens in the finale has to do with the 5 episode event which does make me side eye these last couple of eps a bit just because of the sharp left turns since they were obviously preparing for the mini-event while filming/writing if the finale connects to it.

no yeah, i actually made a face. and i watched the b/a stuff in real time, live, ha (which also made me make a face but for different reasons). i'm not saying that the show couldn't have done a realistic build-up of their friendship to dating but i am saying that apparently scene partners matter heavily in selling it to the general public. you can have bro chemistry and have the romantic stuff fall flat. i had thought, in 5x10, that it was awkward on purpose because of the content of the scene. now i just think...that ain't it. and i say that because i didn't have the same reaction to him with cora or jessica.🤷‍♀️

well, we can always cross our fingers that it was intentional. maybe it's because their scenes were often jughead heavy and/or largely had someone else there that it's now more visible that range and scene partners matter?

i'm not going to tell anyone what to ship but i do think a certain amount of chemistry is important. also, this stuff is a lot fresher than the early b/a plot but archie was pretty terrible to betty as a friend during that whole thing so even while i agree they have better chemistry, i think overall they're not well suited for each other (and it's lili carrying those scenes on her back). especially since they never really seem to pick each other unless they're out of other options.

Betty having sex with Reggie and not Archie is so funny, the Barchie Stans swore they were going to have a first time like Bughead

So… maybe the Jughead that showed up dead at the end of riverVale was riverDale 2.0 Jughead all along?

I stopped watching riverdale but did Josie come back and realize everyone was shit and the only real one was Sweet pea. Then they both rode off into the sunset together???

I understand that it's petty to find fault with promo photos. Especially when these photos were posted by the writer who wrote one and a half episodes. Maybe it's just me and my professional deformation. But as a designer, I can't watch this without crying.

For starters, this is frustratingly bad photoshop. But since Evan most likely did these promos himself, I won't nitpick his Photoshop skills. However, his ig page is now almost the only source of information about the new season, so he certainly should have tried harder.

For this, it would be nice to keep the proportions of the photos. There is absolutely no reason why the photos of Veronica, Jughead and Archie are different in width, while the photo with Toni is square at all. And of course that thing that haunts me when I see it, and which can make me redo all the work if I meet such an outrageous mistake. Why not put the actors in the same scale against this magnificent backdrop? Why are Jughead and Veronica missing half their heads? Will they make stupid decisions in the new season? Why is Archie, although placed with a whole head, so small compared to the two previous characters? Will his role in the new season be insignificant? Why is Toni the only one coming out of the damn fog? Will her story be secondary and unimportant again?

I mean... just... why is it so bad? Why is this photoshoot from fall 2020 still in use? Why doesn't Riverdale have new good promos yet? Please, this show is on TV and Netflix, not filmed on a phone for TikTok.

If anyone still needs proof that Riverdale doesn't care about their viewers, then here it is. It's a cheap promos and an attempt by RAS and his team to pretend that it hasn't been six months since 5-19 aired.
