had my first seminars today and ive been placed in a group project w a girl who a) kept! talking! over! me! and b) is very annoying on just, a regular basis (but also both the seminars went rlly despite my glasses fogging up CONSTANTLY in the second one, i made some excellent points abt victorian britain xo)

For starters, they teased one movie and gave us a different one (see also: Iron Man 3). Next, Khan has been done. I would have been 100% okay with a NOD to Khan (there were SO MANY tos references in that movie omfg), but had Harrison as a different character.
Also stripping Carol down was dumb (unless they had stripped Kirk too), Christine Chapel and Janice Rand should've been in it, and I demand they add some cool lady to be Scotty's assistant. That last one is just me though. I hope the Klingons are back for #3, and maybe the...
The rest of your reply got cut off unfortunately xD But anyway, I guess the whole Khan thing didn't bother me bc again, I haven't seen tos, so I didn't come in knowing that story. I agree with you 100% on Carol, though. That was completely unnecessary -___- And idk who Christine Chapel and Janice Rand are, but it would be nice to have some more female main characters. Like there are some other girls on the ship, but none of them are really given names, if I remember correctly.

Ahaha yeah, I didn't realize until after that the range was kinda wide. They're all in English except for the Hawthorn Tree one. It was the first Chinese book I read, and it made me cry so hard toward the ending omg
