When I was a kid (maybe like 6-12) i was very often """misgendered""" as a girl by doctors, cashiers and general adults. Once we had a picture day at school and had photo of me sent back with girly border cause photographers thought of me as a girl lol

I guess all the signs were there I just didn't know what transgender is cause nobody told me

As for my post this morning. If anyone was worried. Me personally I'm okay (I guess) but my dad's in the hospital and things r still very up in the air. So.

just read the 3 novels of scum villain's self-saving system all in one day because 1. i get all my media recs from things i keep seeing crop up on my tumblr dashboard and 2. I don't have any sense of moderation, i literally just went and bought the next ebook immediately after finishing each one because i couldnt wait for the library loan after the first, i'm unwell, im obsessed, im about to go reblog a ton of stuff from the tag

i don't know how to explain why this had such a grip on me bc yeah i wont deny its a little trashy lol but also its purposefully meant to be trashy bc of its genre and god is it so fucking fun lmao. I guess I'm also the kind of person who ends up reading a lot of villainess isekai while thinking to myself "this is bad, this is trashy" asdjkfh It was suuuper fun to go through similar beats but with a gay couple instead

it was a bit tough bc obviously its meant to be a subversion of a genre the reader is meant to know very well. Whereas i on the other hand, googled "cultivation novel" after a few chapters of volume 1 lol. But! i had a lot of fun learning about the genre nonetheless, and i loved the fandom/online culture/tropes side of it. that part was really fun and familiar (esp bc ive read so much isekai ajskdh)

hi im going to leave chicago in a few hours. i don’t want to come home

SO healing for me. indescribably. and im terrified to lose it when i come back to my home environments and spend #every day going back and forth between home and campus. i know now that i need to do independent things and i #CAN do independent things and i always could. what i don’t know how to do is take that knowledge and apply it to my life at home such that #end up moving out and living by myself asap LOLLLLLL #i have spent so much time wandering. wandered to the art insitute of chicago. wandered on all levels and sides of the riverwalk. wandered #onto the navy pier by COMPLETE accident and it was the first pier ive been on since br!ghton and they had carnival rides and everything and #it started to heal a part of me that was still broken. i don’t know how i can go home now when there’s so much still to explore. i am #terrified to lose this. i haven’t been consumed by depression or anxiety for like 4 days and it has been the biggest hugest breath of fresh #air and i just am so scared to go back to suffocating with no escape in sight until my next conference in june LOL #* i wandered by myself btw. completely alone and only sometimes surrounded by people. and it was so important for me #also like… this was my first time EVER walking in a city all by myself and riding in ubers etc etc. i was so scared remember? but now i am #confident and strong. after 4 days. and i know going home is going to drain me but nothing can ever take this experience away from me.#i can do it. i COULD do it all along. and i will do it again.
