21. Why do they get up in the morning? - After the eventful few decades her race's had, Siona wants nothing more than to ensure they stay safe and thriving in a world that's only recently gotten somewhat used to their existence.

B. What inspired you to create them? - I'm about to be a bit of a fangirl here, but Mirka's initial idea came in the month I spent scouring gw2 tumblr for norn content and stumbled upon some delightful female norn commanders (to name names bc you guys absolutely rock - @pact-valkyrie's Aedira, @heraldofaurene's Herja, @pact-mom-kyrie's Kyrie, @where-is-caithe's Rhowan, knew i was forgetting someone sorry Vex! Go give them some love, they deserve it.) Likewise, I wanted a norn who would appeal to Nyra (reflected in Mirka's initial draft as Nyra's actual ex before I developed this further) and I wanted someone to wear the Stag armor, more Slavic inspo and voilà, Mirka was born <3

So besides the big three (the duke, his child, and the heir) are there any other characters of note?

because of how romance/friendship-driven this story is, a big part of it will focus on the main trio: the mc, odile and leir. in a way, the ROs are also main characters and will have their own arcs regardless of the romance. even rothbart, who is the Big Bad of the story, won't really be as relevant as they are.

that said, there are other side characters that you may meet during the story:

king cadwal (leir's father)

nika (the mc's younger sibling)

berenice (mc's mother)

rhowan (mc's parent)

benno (leir's doggo, my favourite character)
