Post-Game Rune Factory 5 Headcanons

When Hina’s old enough to take on more adult responsibilities at the general store, Lucy (who was working there prior) goes to work at the bathhouse instead and improves the spa side of things with the knowledge Simone taught her about medicine.

After Beatrice decides to live in Rigbarth permanently, she asks Randolph and Yuki to let her work at the bakery. Priscilla (who was working there prior) happily lets Beatrice take the job so she can pursue her own dream.

Priscilla’s dream is to start a library/used book store that also carries some cute notebooks and stationary supplies. Building it right next to the bakery, she uses her organizational skills to recommend great books for everyone, but her favorites are still romance books (same as Beatrice, a frequent visitor and donor). Priscilla is successful enough that she needs a part-time employee.

Cecil decides it’s time for him to start a side job and begins working at the library as the self-appointed mystery book expert. When the front desk is slow and there isn’t much to shelve, he works on research for Terry’s detective agency.

I've already blocked one person for this, but I am so absolutely goddamn tired and exhausted by people who think Amber, Kiel, Cecil and especially Fuuka look like children.

I heavily personally identify with and feel represented by these characters, as an autistic woman who is 31 and literally gets mistaken for 16 by people in public, it's so dehumanizing to have to see people shit on these characters and people who like them, okay?

I get it, you legitimately think I don't deserve love and companionship because I'm short with a baby face and "childish" mannerisms.

Family Beach Day!

I adore Cecil/Fuuka as a ship so much, I made them a pair of OC twin boys named Hyuwa and Nalhwa. Their names mean Wind and River in Hailaimew, Fuuka’s native language. (Hyuwa is the smiling baby, and Nalhwa is the distracted baby.) The twins are were-animals like their mama, but otherwise they take after both of their parents. The twins are free for anyone to use in any Cecil/Fuuka fics or comics! (Just credit me and let me know so I can throw you kudos/reblogs!)

I feel like Cecil is really underrated! I know he's just, like, "annoying too-young bachelor" to a lot of people, but he's actually super interesting.

Like... He's this barely-adult (I read him as around 18), he's the youngest in his generational cohort, he's a younger sibling, and he's an orphan. And like a lot of barely-adults/youngest adults in a generation/younger siblings/orphans, he's sort of coddled and infantilized by people around him, which leads to him being underestimated and dismissed.

BUT! If you actually pay attention, you'll see that there's something else entirely going on. At this point in his life, it's actually Cecil who's in sort of a caregiver role*, and he's actually kinda hypercompetent in his own goofball way. If only the people around him would notice, and blah blah blah! Conflict! Drama!

*...C'mon, he spends most of his time with Martin and Terry. And is probably constantly on the verge of losing his mind. "Original big brother doesn't want to go to bed! Adopted big brother doesn't want to get out of bed! Neither of them will eat a proper breakfast! AHH!"

(This post brought to you by me currently working on a fic where Cecil is a prominent secondary character. His weird combination of mother hen and enthusiastic teenage manchild is really enjoyable and hilarious to write.)
