Irony Blood
You know, say what you like about the Resident Evil movies: there is one line that I absolutely love for the sheer irony of it and I doubt I will ever stop loving it…
Specifically, in Resident Evil: Apocalypse where Olivera (not Oliveira because I’m talking about the movie version) has been bitten and that gets outed and L.J. goes, “Shoulda told me you got bit, I’m hangin’ with you and shit.”
Like, buddy. You’re not wrong, but also, three words: Resident Evil: Extinction. I’ve still not forgiven you for that; Olivera deserved to survive. (Although, if he had to die, blowing himself up with a herd of zombies while smoking a joint is a pretty damn cool way to go.)
