Palm Royale (with B) 1x06 Maxine Takes a Step

A valuable business opportunity and a crucial beach tournament collide, Maxine and Douglas must win over a visiting prince to secure their futures, leading to a whirlwind of humorous misadventures.

The colour saturation in this show is gorgeous. It really does highlight the fashion and decor. Another slow-ish episode but I liked the character moments enough that I didn't mind as much as last week. Did they film the NASA scenes on the FAM set? It looked like their lobby area and those coveralls looked the same too.

Renegade Nell (with mum) 1x01 Don't Call Me Nelly

England, 1705: Nell Jackson's supernatural fighting skills stir up trouble on her return from war.

Having not seen the trailer I was not prepared for her not to be Irish. Why do English supernatural dramas cast Irish leads only to cover up their beautifully melodic accents? I do love her energy and style though. And I wish I had a fairy Nick Mohammed to give me superpowers when needed, or just for company.

The Patient (with mum) 1x07 Kaddish

Both Dr. Strauss and Sam try to make new connections in their pursuit of an elusive peace.

He isn't being persecuted for being Jewish so I didn't really understand him making a holocaust connection. Maybe hinting that his bafflement at his son's ego is because he fails to recognize those self-important tendancies in himself.

Moving (with L) Ep 17 Awakening

Junhwa attacks Huisoo, and Bongseok awakens his powers to save her.

It's all coming together and kicking off!! All the adults fighting to protect the kids, but they might be the ones that need help. The score and editing added greatly to the effectiveness of the brewing danger. I'm excited and a little scared. Can't wait to see how it ends. *sending positive vibes*
