At this point I think I have to accept we’re not getting anything until Indigo actually comes out or very close to, sometime after the 21st. One part of me has reached the whatever stage while the other part of me is still like, what the fuck?!

Do I get it? Not really. But I haven’t been able to make sense of a lot of shit that’s been happening since the summer. I don’t think they do either given how last minute everything has been.

I hope someone makes a documentary years after BTS disband that does an insane deep dive into them that includes this era because I would be fascinated to know what the game plan was. Since we’ll never know from the company and I don’t see any of the members doing a tell-all. Even though I would live for that, a book or otherwise. Specifically from Namjoon’s perspective ‘cause I think if anyone would write a good book it’d be him.

#Sab talks BTS stuff #like is everything a mess because they (HYBE/BH) were hoping for enlistment exception and the members finally decided fuck it #or is everything a mess because they always knew they wouldn't be exempt and instead the members got burnt out?#and finally decided to temporarily take a break to prioritize the needs of certain members ambitions?#example: Hoseok #who pretty much everyone outed as wanting to take a break the most during FESTA so he could do his own thing #whereas Namjoon was and is clearly the most burnt out in trying to craft BTS' sound #in that he said he didn't know what the group had to say anymore #which frankly he knows exactly what should be spoken about but k-pop isn't for complex topics #hence why the rap line put those more difficult conversations into the lyrics of their solo works #BTS used to have more music with messages and that's when their songs were the best #they need to be bold again versus this cutesy pop that's devoid of any heart soul of thought behind it #because a GP only consumes it like junk food #remember when BTS wrote songs about class inequality? Yeah #and like BTS don't need to tackle topics that would make them hypocritical (since they're all rich AF now)#but there are still important things to create music about #anyway oh look I wrote a whole damn essay in these tags 'cause I dunno if it's worth making a whole post about
