Reiwa no Dara-san is actually fantastic. Sure it goes a bit too heavy on "that kind" of tropes at times but when it doesn't it's honestly one of my fav series I've read in the past few years.

Baller character designs, intriguing backstory which is very nicely juxtapositioned to the slice of life elements, funny characters, and it really seems like the author is knowledgeable about classical Japan.

Okay joke done, now Big Rant !!! So this premises of this comic is brother and sister form a friendship with the yokai that lives in the cursed shrine behind their house, which is not a bad premise, but actually brother dresses like a girl and the sister is a tomboy !!! Now there is two ways you can see this, 1) this are the gender brothers and their snake aunt !! 2) This is borderline creepy pedo shit !!! too be fair I did skimming trough some chapters and in the fourth chapter it has a panel of the brother character in a feminine swim suit, so yeah Borderline !!! I don't know why so many mangas have this creepy pedo shit into them, Tengoku Daimakyou had this into it and when I noticed that the author was being a creep I stop reading it,with is a shame because I really like that comic , That Murcilliego comic or whatever the name was also had the characters that are 18 or older but they look they have 9 and the protagonist really wanna fuck them !! I don't get it, I don't get why so many pedophiles are in this medium.

Getting back to the comic in the example, it also speak of a complete lack of understanding of trans identity, and I only see this in manga as well, of the trope the guy that only wears girls clothes, act like a girl 24/7 but still a guy at the end of day, this, Dragona from Jojo Lands, Yuka from Blue Period, It keeps happening over and over again, those this people even know that trans people exist ?!!
