APTCH is such an insane show but also it allows its characters so much complexity and sympathy that it’s often hard to hate any of them, even the villains, like Regina is straight up a caricature of a hysterical evil bitch and on the one hand she’s a vile antisemite but also on the other hand she did kill a cop. Which admittedly made me like her a lot more

Buffalo’s PBS station begins running S4 of A Place to Call Home at the end of this month. I wondered why they were re-running the first 3. Still find Anna and Gino generally irritating, but I can fast forward through those scenes. Regina (Jenni Baird) will, I’m sure, play the villain to the hilt.

From a gay perspective. it’s going to be interesting to see the story between James Bligh (David Berry) and Henry Fox (Tim Draxl) develop, as well as how the re-introduction of Harry Polson (Dominic Allburn) will impact that and his separate story line.

Ah yes, an Aussie soap to brighten up the evening :)
